Cold...

The monsoon has came again. Which reminds me of Sri Lanka again. I guess it's a part of us that we won't be able to forget. =)

It has been like raining (non-stop?) for 2 days... Super cold now... I'm wearing socks & sweater loh... Weather forecasts predicts the temp to be between 23 to 28 degress Celsius tonight... and that the rain will continue till Friday... According to CNA:

Quite scary sia. And for the past 2 days I've been going to Orchard. I feel so spendthrift for these 2 days... I had Sakae buffet yesterday with Amy, Charles, Jiali & Joo... Then I watched Eragon with the gers & Merv... I find the show quite nice leh, but the rest find it boring. Lol. And cos all of us were like super duper full (till the point of puking) aft our Sakae buffet, we didn't buy any popcorn. And juz to save the $2+ on a cup of drink from the snack counter, I accidentally left my Nalgene bottle on the cup holder of my seat. Boohoo!

Today ate BK breakfast with Candy & Zhao Yong. Sinful but super nice. Aft tt we went to walk ard to shop for Bingjia's present. Halfway shopping Candy asked if Lisheng is coming & ZY commented that LS muz be still sleeping, so I called LS. Guess wat? ZY is correct lah! Mr Ong went back to sleep aft he ate his breakfast @ home... -_- By the time Candy left, LS haven't reach Bugis yet... Muz say... buying BJ's present is the hardest task we can have lah. Haha. But anyway I watched Deja Vu with the guys aft the shopping. Nice show! Juz that I don't really like their explanation about the technology that they are using... Went to the lost & found counter to ask bout my bottle but it's not there. How sad can it be?! *cry*

On Sun, I went to Steph's facial salon for a "Xmas party". I muz say the skin consultants are all v pessistant in promoting man, but REJECT is the word. Wahahaha. Find stupid excuses and give it to em. Heh. Later on me & Steph went shopping ard @ Bugis Junction. Bought the newest Kindaichi comic cos Kino was having a storewide 20% discount. Heh. Met Huiyu @ Bugis Junction. She still look the same leh, heh. Btw, she is the 1st pri sch fren that I've. I was telling Steph on the 1st day of sch, I was sitting in front of HY (yah yah, I was the shortest...) & as usual lotsa kids cry on their 1st day of sch. Haha. So I juz gave a tissue paper to HY loh. And somehow she rmb it until today.

Yah hor?! This reminds me... See, I'm nice to everyone ok?? I wasn't trying to suck up my form teacher loh!! Stupid ppl who were jealous of me that time. Haha

Abit out of point, haha. Back to wat happened for the past wk... U can dun read on lah. But I juz trying to keep records for myself. Lol.

Of cos on Sunday night I stayed @ home to watch my Hua Yang on ppstream loh. The seeder of the channel changed & the url was changed. In the end the url that I bookmarked nv work... Luckily it was showed in the channel panel of the client. Made me miss 1st 20min of the show. Grrr....

On Sat, I went Marina Creative with Joo cos her new Zen MicroPhoto is spoilt. Haha. And I went to collect my free Qmax webcam. Giving the webcam to Cousin Weiying since I dun need. Later on Joo accompanied me to buy my Xmas gift exchange stuffs and we also went to the Mango sale AGAIN. Lol. She called her mum to ask if she shld buy the clothes, but of cos I dunno wat she was saying lah. I only heard "*&^%$#@!*&^%$#@! Eva" (PS: the *&^%$#@! isn't vulgarities but Korean.... I dunno how to type korean wat! Lol) And I roughly know she told her mum she's shopping with me. I hope her mum won't think that I'm teaching her to be spendthrift. HAHA. Aft I reach home, Joo told me she juz bought the long sleeves... which means aft I left Suntec, she went back to Mango again. Lol. Oh! And I bought 2 bimbo Lindsay shows' VCD. Lol

On Fri evening, I went to shop @ Tampines with Aimei. Bought a skirt @ $19 & a nice pair of shoes @ $17. As u all know I've v short but wide feet (same as my body, lol). Vertically, my feet could fit in the size 35. But horizontally, I needed a size 37. But shit! It was vertically quite lose if I buy size 37. So the salesgirl was v nice & added paddings on the shoes that I wanted @ no extra charge! Haha. Oh! And we heard a choir singing Xmas carols @ Century Square. But it was quite horrible... There was a tenor's & sop's voice sticking out... And the altos were too loud... covering the sops (cept for the voice that stuck out)... We quickly left the building aft we bought my shoes. HAHA.

On Thurs, I cannot rmb wat I did. But I most probably slacked @ home the whole day...

On last Tues, I went for an interview. The story goes that a ger called me up during the 2nd exam wk for interview for a financial consultant position & I rmbed the time as 11.30am. I was on the bus to the interview already and the ger called me @ 10.50am "Hi Eva, are u coming for the interview?" I find it weird so I asked "Isn't the interview @ 11.30?" And she said it's @ 11am... So I told her I'm on my way & apologised. When I reached the level, I saw a big logo of this famous insurance company @ the unit nearest to the lift. And then a guy asked me which unit I'm lookin for & I started to suspect that the whole level consits of units of the insurance company... And I'm correct lah. I had the urge to leave immediately, but felt paiseh cos I told the ger I'm coming. In the end I was told to take a personality test & later on sat thru a video & interview... Felt cheated...

Aft that in the evening, met up Amy, Charles, Jiali & Joo to buy stuffs for steamboat @ Amy's house.

Ok, my hair looks damn messy & I look damn auntie. Haha. We can't finish the food so we had to play zhong ji mi ma. Haha. Aft tt Charles took his last bus home while we girls started to slack ard. We were watching the Asian Games diveboard (is it diveboard or sth lydat?) event. We were commenting on how nice the ppl jump but we dunno how the rules of the even works. HAHA. Jiali commented that dunno y but China always get the highest marks. Aft tt we started to watch a cartoon on Amy's laptop, but the audio was so jerky -_-. So in the end we watched Ella Enchanted, which was quite a crappy show. Like no logic... Aft the show I went to sleep on the sofa but the girls started to watch this show that Amy say it's not scary... But aft I moved to sleep on the mattress on the floor & Amy was beside me, she jerked & scream when a scary part came out. And the screams of the girls continued while I sleep. Haha.

On Wed aft we woke up, we went to Vivocity~! Actually cos I need to meet Evia to pass her the Hua Yang book & the gers agreed to go Vivo with me cos there was Mango sale. Heh. The top floor of Vivo is really v nice! But my phone camera isn't that good ah... Haha

So can't take the scenery behind. Heh. Later on Amy left for her JB trip while I spent my 24th hour together with Jiali & Joo. Omg! We were like quite sick of each other aft tt. Lol. Joking lah!

Thurs nite: Finally Vivocitied~!~! Had Carl's Jr for dinner & and we took a pic @ the xmas tree

Fri: Watched Open Season with Lisheng & Zhao Yong. Super suay lah. It was still ok when I got down the bus, but aft I walked to the traffic lights 10m away from the bus stop, it started to rain heavily. Then I did a 200m dash to The Cathay. We actually planned to watch Deja Vu but the guys were late so we watched Open Season instead. The show is quite funny.

Sat: Met the girls (in the pic) & Merv to sing KTV. Then walked ard in Orchard. Had super nice toast & dim sum for my dinner @ Food Republic @ Wisma. And we found out Amy has weak legs. Haha

Sun: My mum's fren's daughter came from M'sia to do her internship in Singapore, so I brought her to MDIS @ Queenstown cos her training will be held there. Aft tt in the evening, went Parkway... Watched my 4th episode of Hua Yang~! =D

Today: Went Sembawang Shipyard for interview. Like nv really ask much qns... But I'm so happy today because.... *drumroll*

My Hua Yang pictorial book!! Finally got it~! Comes with a 2007 calendar =D Bought it via a Taiwan online bookstore & they DHLed it here. The book itself costs only SGD$11 but including courier fees will be SGD$25 if u only buy 1. Managed to find a girl from some forum to buy another 2 books, so can share the cost & the cost became SGD$18.50. YAY~! Actually I called up Kino to ask bout the book & they told me they tentatively set the price @ SGD$21 & the stocks might come in as late as Wed & may or may not have the free calendar. So I decided to order the book from Taiwan directly.

Jiali commented that I'm like a sec sch kid now, so crazy over a show... Lol. Which I seriously think so too! I think I was too deprived of all these kinda shows when I was young... I think my only idol that time was Jeff Chang? (Ok, mayB also Faye Wong, but not that much) And Jeff I muz say, although I really luv his voice up till now, we cannot deny the fact that he's quite a boring guy. Haha. And wat dramas do we have? Only TCS shows... which I don't even watch already (ok lah, now called Mediacorp)

Yah, 1 of the reasons why I'm so slacked... my slackest exam ever.... 3 papers over 2 wks... but I'm super ineffective.

I think I'm not prepared for tmr's paper, read thru his notes, understand em, but I dunno how to apply. And it doesn't help when there's only 2 past year papers & 2 tutorials... Not to mention that the 2 past year papers has different kinda qns & I got the lowest in class for my mid-term... Luckily I've my proj to pull me up...

Argh... quick return me all my luck! I need it so I wun be da-baoing my 1st mod!

Yah, I nearly 4got to announce that some1 was officially attached on Mon, 27th Nov~! But of cos it's not me lah, lol. So sweet ah, he did so many things on her bday (27th Nov is her bday lah). Cable car leh! So romantic!

Feel so happy for her, hehe. I must shout out loud CONGRATS~! Though I know she seldom reads blog. Haha. Weicong commented that I'm the only single one left in the 4-ppl clique.... -_- I know lah, but there's no good men ard mah. Ooopps! Haha. And surprisingly Arpan knows who he is cos of Akido. O_O I think he "caught" the 2 of em b4 together so he knows. And he reminded me that 3/4 of the CE cohort is not attached, which is quite true.

So, wat the *&^%$#@! is wrong with being single?! =/

My Creative Zen Vision M

I made a big decision on Sun to buy the Zen Vision M (30Gb)... I've already been eyeing on the player since 1 year ago, when the starting price was ard $600. Of cos I can't afford it cos I'm a poor student.

On Thurs, I was thinkin of lookin for a part time job for after my exams and thinkin of continuing it during next sch semester since I'll only have 1 module + FYP left. I then went Creative's website, wanting to see when they have their warehouse sale. Wahlao! The warehouse sale is from Fri to Sun lah! An offer I've been waiting for... Then I saw the stupid small prints, "Player cannot be flash-based", but my Muvo Slim is...

I was still deciding if I shld go over to the warehouse sale counter and act blur "Huh? I came all the way to Jurong and you tell me cannot trade-in?! I also don't know what is flash-based and what is not, u nv put it in ur website mah..." But then I've been slacking too much so I decided to not go the warehouse sale.

On Sat, went inuovi makeup workshop (yah, yah, I'm learning lah... wat's wrong? =/) with Aimei. I was early so I decided to drop by Marina Square's Creative shop to check the player out cos I haven't really touch the player yet (I was touching one during the last warehouse sale when a promoter came along and wanted to teach me how to use the player, I was paiseh & walked away, lol). To my joy, I saw a poster version of the promo web page, and they stuck a black tape over "Player cannot be flash-based". I went to the counter to re-confirm and they said yes. YAY~! I really had the urge to buy but I tot of waiting since the promo is for 1 mth & I feel v poor recently.

When I went home that afternn I did some calculation. If I choose choice B, there's like an extra $70 discount, plus another $3.50 extra Creative rebate & 2 more lucky draw coupons (yah, I know I'm cheapskate, lol), but I don't need the accessories. I decided to put the accessories that are mentioned on the website on Yahoo auctions, at a $24 discount off the RRP. A few hours later, there was already some1 who bidded the accessories. So on Sun I wanted to buy the player but when I called the customer service hotline, I was told that the player is out of stock @ all the shops... =/

On Monday I called again & the stocks were here. I went down Marina again to buy the player & Xmod (I think it's some external sound card) & went to school. Later @ night the buyer came to meet me in school to buy his Xmod. Weird... He paid $24 less, no lucky draw, no Creative rebate, have to pay for his patrol to come NUS from Yio Chu Kang. But nonetheless, it was nice of him to meet up @ my convenience. Haha.

Sorry for the boring explanations. So now in summary, thanx to Aimei who lent me $300, I officially bought my Creative Zen Vision M for $334 after trade-in~! Hehe. I'll return it to u as soon as I get my MIAP allowance. =D Zen Vision M is not as chio as an iPod video, but M is able to support much more video & audio codecs than iPod, has a radio & recording features which iPod doesn't have. I choose features over looks. MayB also cos I prefer Creative to Apple. Lol. I bought the white one btw, cos there's no blue colour in Asia ='( But I've decided to get a blue silicon skin to make up for that. Lol.

I feel that I'm ultra super duper slack. Muz study hard! 3 papers over 2 weeks is not a good thing for me, esp when my 1st & 2nd paper is more than 1 wk apart. ='( I'm still going Sitex tmr loh!! HAHA. Shall go study now. Good luck to having their papers this wk! My luck is on loan till next Tues morn =D

Somehow I juz love this song. MayB cos the MV is cute, mayB cos Ella n Wu Zun r the main ppl in the MV, or mayB the song is juz too apt for me. Lol. Anyway here's the MV

Presentation Intro Video and Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nv

My grp mates and I took an intro video for our presentation just for laughs....

I then edited the videos and added some sound effects, super proud of my work can?!



But oh well, we didn't really get the whole-class-laughing-at-the-video effect... =(

But it's ok! Cos the show I've been wait for is finally gonna be on TV!!

花样少年少女!! U may say it's another Ou Xiang Ju from Taiwan and it won't be nice. But I really like Ella's acting, she got nominated as Best Female Actress for the Golden Bell Awards leh! I juz LUV her acting in 蔷薇之恋 aka The Rose.

Anyway the show's bout a ger called Ruixi and she admires a high-jump contestant Quan, went back to her homeland (Taiwan) all the way from America, disguises herself as a girl, and entered the same boys' school as Quan. She's luckly as it turned out that her room-mate is Quan, and also, she became good friends with Quan and Xiu Yi, another hostel-mate of hers.

RX found that for a particular reason, Quan had given up on high-jump which he loved to do most and she can only give him moral support and encouragement. Quan found out bout RX's female identity on the 1st day of school when he had to carry her to the sick bay, but did not reveal this to anyone. The homosexual school medic, Mei Tian, also know about RX's identity (reason being he’s a gay =S) and he was the only person in the school whom knows bout RX's identity, in RX's point of view.

Because of RX's warm and straight-forward attitude, Quan gradually opened up his heart and found himself falling in love with RX. He selfishly wanted to keep RX with him and he did everything he could to conceal the female identity of the careless RX. RX did not realise the charm she possessed had actually made XY falling in love with her. Although the pitiful XY thought that he is a gay, he bravely stepped forward for his love.

The abstract was extracted from the show's official site and what I know of the story. Quite a ridiculous plot, but the story is quite nice! I read abit of the manga (偷偷爱着你 aka Hanazakarino Kimitachihe) already. Oh well, I think cos I'm the shoujo kinda ger... the only shounen manga I read b4 is Ranma. HAHA.

The guy who acts as Quan is called 吴尊 (Wu Zun). He's the guy on the right, with the school coat on and he's very shuai! It's like the more I see him, the more shuai I think he is! Lol. As for the guy who acts as Xiu Yi, he's called 汪东城 (Wang Dong Cheng). He's quite cute (P.S: Shuai & cute r 2 diff things) but he's abit the AA. Lol.

Hate the feeling of being taken for granted

I think I'm in one of the moody kinda mood today.

Why is it that I get the feeling of being taken for granted by her? I mean even if I consider her as one of my close frens, she doesn't even know that my blog exists, she doesn't know what the hell is happening to my life. And for the past few years, I've seen her less than 10 times. It's like whenever she calls me, I know that either she needs my help or there's something not right going on.

Around 1 wk before my grandma passed away, she called me, askin me to give her a tuition on A Maths cos she didn't take it in sec sch. I told her to come to my house since I was busy during that time. She refused, askin me to go somewhere near her house instead, and commented sth like "10 years of friendship". I agreed to since I was planning to go Sim Lim Square to get sth.

On that day, I met her @ a Mac near her place. I told her I was planning to go visit my grandma aft the tuition. But in the end I under-estimated the tuition duration and didn't have enough time to visit my grandma. Later @ night I SMSed her saying my grandma passed away. Only got a reply from her and no more news from her till end of that month...

"10 years of frienship" is always what she used to threaten me. I really hate it. I hate this feeling of being threatened. And worst. She's using FRIENSHIP as a threat. I think if she ever uses it again I'll scream @ her.

The thing bout "being nice"

Me & Cai were on bus 96 when she commented that she feels that a fren of ours is being nice cos he/she wants ppl to think that he/she's nice and not cos he/she's sincerely nice. I tot of another fren whom I think is like that also, I just can't sense the sincerity.

On my walk home juz now from the bus stop, I suddenly tot of sth that happened to me in the past...

When I was in Pri 3, there was once when our form teacher was feeling unwell and she was puking outside the classroom into the black & big rubbish bin. She was outside for like 5min and seeing that she's really feeling so unwell, I just walked up to her and handed her 1 or 2 pieces of tissue.

Later on there was this nation-wide Sharity Elephant (erm... if u dunno who Sharity Elephant is, u probably nv had ur pri sch education in Singapore, lol) competition on "Care and Share". I was v shocked that my teacher nominated me based on the incident and even more by the fact that the school decided to choose me to represent the school. Ok, I muz say I wasn't well liked in pri sch, and some ppl juz commented that I was trying to suck up my form teacher.

The thing was they didn't make the comment when I walked out of the classroom and gave the teacher some tissue, they only made the comment when the teacher announced that I'm chosen. So conclusion is I think they were juz jealous of me. Muahahaha.

And I still remember my father drove me to the interview place and I was wearing my favourite dress. When I reached there, all the nominees from other schools were wearing their school uniform & my father commented sth like, "See lah! Asked u to wear school uniform, u still wanna wear home clothes..." Later on, I merely got a Merit cert & the name on it was Lin Ming Yuen... my form teacher submitted the wrong name cos she always mix my name up with another guy in the class (yes... that guy is called Lin Ming Yuen...). The stupid me liquid away the "Yuen" and wrote "Yan" myself. Lol. Kena scolded by my mother aft she knew it.

Anyway I digressed... my point is actually... I shouldn't doubt ppl when they are nice. I was quite angry and hurt back then when those idiots made bad comments about me cos I was juz an innocent P3 student who was really concerned bout my form teacher. If it was my classmate instead of my form teacher, I'm v sure I would have done the same thing.

Budden again, sometimes u can't help but doubt... Lol. I guess the only thing is not to show that u're doubting the person... That shldn't hurt bah...

Good things come together

Oh well... the haze is gone... I've got back my worst CE test results ever yesterday...
BUT some other good things came along....

From now on, I truly believe in fate =)

And I believe that no negative rxns from a blockhead means that he/she either really don't get it, or he/she doesn't have any bad feelings =D

Too slacked

I'm too slacked le lah. Die. I've been slacking since Sat. WHY CAN'T I JUZ DO STH MORE CONSTRUCTIVE?!

The only constructive thing that I did was to tidy up my table. B4 that, my last sem stuffs were on my table & my this sem's stuffs were like stacked on top of em. Lol.

I nearly 4got to add that me & Aimei kua dio gui yesterday! [kua dio gui == literally translates from Hokkien to English as "saw ghost(s)"] We walked passed a This Fashion outlet @ Bugis & decided to stop & were lookin @ some clothes near the entrance of the shop. Then suddenly, a woman walked towards us & cut in front of me into the shop. I recognise the face & turn ard & gave a shocked look to AM. And AM said, "Quick, quick, let's go!" Then we started walking v fast. I bet the salesladies @ Taka Jewellery beside This Fashion tot we were avoiding em. LOL.

Me & Na with Chew & her baby twins... Ppl mother of 2 sons already leh, I still haven't find my 1st boyfren, sad case. Haha. She gave birth on 3rd Oct & we went to visit her on the day of her discharge which was on 5th Oct. 1st time I carry such a small baby!!

Ain't they cute? Awwww.... Me & Na could actually differentiate between the elder bro n younger bro! On our left is the younger bro (with a rounder forehead) & the our right is the elder bro. Anyway, the elder bro moves alot... I was holding on to him on the car & he kept moving, I was so scared he'll start crying... Na was holding onto the younger one n it was soooo sound asleep! Anyway their names was decided by some fortune teller but I still dunno wat r their names, 4got to ask Chew bout it =X

HK trip

Ok, a long overdued entry and I didn't really took lotsa photos in HK....

1st day in HK, checked in our hostel in the busy Mongkok. Took an airport express bus (a journey that costs SGD$6!!) & the bus stop is only a 5-min walk to the hostel! Anyway a view of the building that houses the hostel:

Look like haunted house rite? Lol.

My aunt brought us to walk ard in Nu Ren Jie (Ladies Street) & went even further this Esprit Outlet that sells the past season clothes mostly @ half price! Spent SGD$100 there. Haha.

Aft that I went Jeff Chang's concert @ HK Coliseum with Cousin Bud. The photos of Jeff are too small lah... so I decided to post this pic:

Their coliseum is v big loh! And the concert tix r so cheap as compared to Singapore! The most ex one is only SGD$80 & the cheapest is only SGD$20! Cousin Bud sponsored the concert tix & she bought the SGD$20 one, so I can't really complain =P

In the middle of the nite @ 1+am, Cousin Ying called me (I was sleeping on the 2nd deck of the bed, above her), saying she's feeling v cold. In the end I realised cos she was quite ya-ya, nv cover herself with the blanket. Mingyan & me decided to go downstairs to buy couz sth hot cos she was trembling. Wat an adventure. We went out of the hostel & we saw a guy half-naked & smoking. Think we were quite scared. Lol. But when we went downstairs, we saw.... the place was like 9pm in Orchard Road lah... there were many ppl walking ard, buses still operating, taxis horning like nobody's business.... we concluded that it's actually quite safe once we get out of our building. Haha

2nd day, we went to the restaurant where we bought couz her Ovaltine last nite.

A typical brunch for us (cos we usually wake up @ 11am, haha). That's not all u noe? Take a look @ the menu:

HK$27 which is ard SGD$5! V filling. And the funny thing in HK is the set meals are usually cheaper than the main course itself. Haha. Aft that I went to my relatives house to do proj while Cousin Ying & Mingyan went to shop ard. They went APM!! BOOHOO. Anyway, my relatives house is situated in a relatively new housing estate...

V condo-lookalike rite?! V nice place loh. It became even nicer @ nite:

The 3rd day, Mingyan came back to Singapore while me & Cousin Ying went shopping @ Mongkok. We went Hua Yuan Jie (Garden Street) & this 13th storey shopping ctr called Langham Place. Aft that went to my relatives house again to eat my medicine (cos muz brew one). And later on we went to a place called Lok Fu and we ate KFC there....

The KFC sells rice loh!! Lol

The next day we went Ocean Park!

We were kinda lucky cos we saw Giant Panda An An eating! Here's the video:

And we took the cable car from the lowlands to the highlands...

We weren't in the cable car in the picture, we were actually juz standing in front of a blue screen. Lol. Anyway this picture havta buy from the counter after we reached the high lands. We also saw the dolphins in their enclosure. There was this dolphin which keep coming up to the weighing machine... So trained. Haha

Then we took this ride that spirals up to let u view the scenery...

And we went to the jellyfish aquarium that was newly opened:

The seals are super funny & cute! The story goes that one of the seal knocked one of the trainer into the pool & the guy is "screaming for help"...

The other trainer "told" the seal to save the trainer-in-distress & it threw a super small float into the pool...

The other seal saved the trainer & gave it a "kiss of life". But I didn't managed to really take that scene, lol.

Later @ nite we went to walk ard in HK's CBD area & took a tram! But I didn't managed to take a photo of the tram cos it was v crowded.

On the 5th day, went to my relative's house to do proj & see doc again while the rest went to Lantau Island to look @ the Buddha statue. At night, I went to walk ard Temple Street & Star Ferry with Cousin Bud & fren.

On the last day it was kinda mad rush to shop for me... cos there was so many things I needed to buy. Haha. Our flight was supposed to leave HK @ 8pm but it only left @ 10pm.... In the end we reached Singapore at nearly 2am. Aiyoh...

Ok... think that's all liao. Oh! And I 4got to take a picture of the hostel that I stayed in... But it has a website! http://www.kingwahhostel.com/main_e.htm Small but cheap & v convenient place! The Mongkok MTR station is juz 5min walk away. U can consider staying @ that place if u're going HK. =D

Shin Yul
Shin is so cold towards Cheokyeong loh... Yul so nice to her. Haha. N Shin has v narrow shoulders (yah yah, Jiali likes guys with narrow shoulders, bleah!). Joo & me both prefer Yul but Jiali say Yul looks too girly. Where got?! And Yul sings better than Shin. Wahahaha.

And of cos gers wise I prefer the main char lah... Haha. But actually I still like Full House better.

Anyway, damn! I was so busy with design proj that I TOTALLY 4gotten that Lee Hom's concert is on 21st Oct. Thanx to Jiali for reminding me! And I got a cheap deal on Yahoo auctions! $150 for a pair of $128 tix! It's near the stage but quite @ the side. But experiences tell me side tix r not bad too. Hehe.

Ok... actually I had my RnR in HK liao... but now I'm starting to have aaaa bit of RnR lah, haha.

Finished our HR presentation today. Woohoo!!! Every1 done a good job! (Though I muz admit I didn't really tok during QnA session). Now to the report...

And design proj is finally over. But hydrodynamics proj is coming...

Greetings from HK

I'm @ Cousin Bud's house now... was doing my proj and I decided to blog abit. Haha

I know I may sound sad in my nickname... actually ok lah, I already got prepared when I left Singapore. Spent 1 & 1/2 out of the 6 days to do my proj @ my relatives' house, so in the end I didn't go Disneyland and Lantau Island (where u can see a big Buddha statue).

Though I was quite excited bout going Disneyland @ 1st, the excitement got down quite a lot, mayB cos I was worried bout my proj. Then later on Mingyan told me that she hurt her back during her trip to Genting last week & can't go take any rides, adding to that it was a Sunday & I heard from Cousin Bud that it will be very crowded, we decided not to go Disneyland.

Mingyan & Cousin Weiying then went shopping @ this place called APM (they open from AM to PM, thus the name) & I came to Cousin Bud's house to do my proj & my aunt brought me to see the Chinese doctor & I drank this super duper bitter medicine. (But I still prefer Chinese medicine to Western medicine, haha)

And today, I decided to not go Lantau Island to try to do as much as possible for the proj. I didn't make the wrong choices lah. I can go Lantau Island or Disneyland anytime next time I come to Hong Kong again, but my proj, I've to finish by this Fri.

Oh well... I gtg back to my hostel already! Going to The Peak to watch night scenery, reward myself aft a hard day's work. =D

I dunno when I'll stop crying whenever I think of her but I guess this is one of the regrets that I'll carry it on, even when I grow old.

So u ppl! Visit ur grandparents frequently!

And I'm ok le lah, cry out already will feel better, easier to sleep also. =D

The thing about religion

Honestly, I'm not a devoted Buddhist.

I luv to eat meat & I hate to eat veges (but I luv tomatoes, haha).
I don't read sutras, nor do I chant everyday.

To me, my religion is sth that gives me a sense of security spiritually.

Like when one is alone outside @ night (like aft 12midnight), u'll tend to think bout ghost etc etc... I tend to calm myself down by telling me that my pendant will ward off any ghosts/spirits out there. That's why I dun scream like some of my frens (u noe who u r, hahaha) when another fren taps their shoulders from behind in dark places. (I normally will react to scares @ the brightest places cos I'm not prepared, haha.)

Or when something bad happens & that I can't control what is going to happen next, I'll pray to Buddha, hoping that the bad will turn good.

But hey! I'm not the kinda 零时抱佛脚 (literally translates to last minute hug Buddha's foot) person. I pray to Buddha everytime I leave home ok? Heh

Yet another weird dream

I dreamt that I bought almond jelly for my father cos he likes almond flavour (me, my mother, my sis, all dun like cos the it tastes weird to us).

Somehow, the almond jelly has became almond beancurd... Then when my father started eating, he commented that it might have gone bad. He continued eating the 2nd piece of beancurd & concluded that it really has gone bad. He then only ate the longans left... Then my father ate the bao on the table and also say it has gone bad.

That's all I can remember, but it's weird how the almond jelly turned into beancurd... Haha

I hope I've a much better temper

Why the hell wld I have sleeping pills??! I dun have insomnia! Neither do u, so y ask for sleeping pills when u can't fall asleep for only 1 day? And since u're askin ppl for it, u shld do it nicely instead of asking in an irritated tone.

Super nice cd lah! I've been waiting for 2 years already! Though the CD cover looks plain, but oh well, the CD comes with 3 MVs. Hehe. Went Chinatown to buy the CD today afternn with Aimei. $15.50 only leh!! Same price as JJ's 1st album!! Lol.

I'm super amazed with the CD market lah! The shop already had Jay Chou's China edition album on the 1st day of release! Power sia! The uncle asked me if I want Jay's newest album (Yi Ran Fan Te Xi), I told him I'm not into Jay.

4 times in a week

My record (other than during my grandma's wake/funeral) for N number of years. Haha.

I think I kinda shocked Weicong cos I was on his (father's) van & we were on our way to Fong Seng & we were tokin bout proj stuffs when I juz suddenly cried. Then WC keep saying "relak, relak!" Thanx pal for listening & to try to look for tissue for me (even though there wasn't any). Haha.

And I decided to came home cos I felt nauseous. There are a lot of times when I'll feel like puking when I worry too much. Hai... Then on the bus, I cried again. Oops!

But it really feels great to be @ home. And I felt much better aft crying. Heh.

A piece of good news for me is I'm having company to go Disneyland with! Amy's fren whom I known during 1 Jing Qu Jiang, also called Mingyan & also luvs Jeff Chang!! Coincidence! But 同名不同命... ppl O level national top leh! She's like going HK esp to watch Jeff's concert loh! Lol.

I hope my nightmare ends soon & I'll be in HK! =D

Roller coaster ride

It really has been a roller coaster ride for my stress level during these 3 weeks. It's the 1st time I'm so stressed with school work that I cried.

And I really feel loved by my (ger) frens & mother. My gers who sent me sms/mms to cheer me up, listen to me complain on the phone, trying to soothe me when I started crying....

Ok lah, my father aaaa bit lah... I came home late on Wed night aft a night of not returning home & his 1st words were actually "Can u help me fix the dvd recorder?". Felt quite hurt. Sometimes muz really tell myself my father is like that... Hai... I threw my temper saying instead of askin whether I'm tired or not, he asked me to help him fix up sth. Later on I think he felt apologetic & he asked me wat proj have I been doing lately. Haha.

Really v glad I've ppl ard me.

And although my proj quite suay, my HK trip quite lucky! Cousin Weiying won tix to HK!! Which means free air-tix for me too. Heh. My parents suggested I pay all the accomodation which I find it reasonable. And Cousin Bud volunteered to help me buy Jeff Chang concert tix! Woohoo! The cheapest is only HK$100 which is ard SGD$20 & the most ex is HK$400. HK concert tix really v cheap!

Lookin forward to the next Fri cos Jeff's new album will be out, finally, aft 2 years (he broke his 1-year-promise...). =)

I was on the phone with my design project grp mate, Wang Chen, on the bus on my way home on Thurs. When I got down the bus I dropped the hp pouch that Aimei bought for me from Thailand. BOOHOO. And on the same day, I found out my card reader was spoilt... which means I can't use my SD card as thumbdrive!

And how bout struggling to transport the damn DJ console for CE day?

And during my 3 mths in ST, I missed the damn company bus by less than 1min for more than 3 times.

Week 2 seems like week 7 to me

And to other CE peeps too. It's the 1st time I see ppl staying over in school (other than those staying in hall) on week 2 of school... Poor Qiulin, she looked so stressed when I saw her.

And there's Cail, who has a grp mate from HELL. Haha. And I totally agree. This grp mate from hell... Let's call her Z. Was already disgusted with her.

1. We had a MCQ class quiz. All of us submitted already. Some ppl were standing in front @ the stage asking the prof what the correct answers are. QL saw Z standing BEHIND the prof, listening to his correct answers & changing her answers to the correct one.
2. Z was supposed to do a proj with Weicong. She kept pestering him to start doing the proj. He told her he's busy recently. Later on Z joined another grp & asked WC to look for grp members himself. In the end I did the proj with WC & it turned our well, we were great partners! Blessing in disguise for him, haha. (Imagine he did the proj with her & he'll be as suay as Cai)
3. Now Cai's proj prof couldn't recognise Cai & her other members cept for Z. Then the prof said to Z during the proj meeting that if her grp members nv help, he can email em. Z nv say anything. WTH! How can she do that?! Cai & Grace definitely did more than her loh. Madness!
   

This Z is really damn sucky lah. Totally disgusted with her.

Anyway as for me... hai... I also had my difficulty with grp members. It's really not her fault. But for the moment there wun be any problems. Hope it'll go on like this.

I can forsee week 7 will feel like week 2 to me cos I'll be having only 2-day week. =)

Zouked!

We decided to go Project X (NUSSU bash) after we know that it's free entrance & that the 1st 500 ppl will get free goodie bag... But I think the free goodie bag was bluff ppl one... We had to buy the drink coupon which was $7/drink, then we can get free vouchers...

Anyway, was quite fun since it has been so long since the last time I go chiong. Saw Edward (my pri sch fren) there. Quite surprised haha. But quite irritated with the ppl who kept squeezing & keep pushing me.... Arrgghhh... there was even some1 who pushed me till I nearly fell down. Talk bout being gentleman! Anyway I pushed his fren back cos I was too angry. Lol.

We saw the drunk Anthony dancing weirdly... on the stage... Haha. And there was this guy who was dancing ard me weirdly and the situation was as illustrated below:

My nose was on the same level as his armpit... And I suay suay can smell his strong BO... And he was really dancing with his arms open lydat!! Argghh... Then luckily kind Gord exchanged place with me. But it wasn't so bad for him cos @ least his nose wasn't @ the same level as the guy's armpit...

I think the guy was alone & he was moving ard to find a grp which he can join. Then he moved until he was behind Cai & I told Cai to be careful... When she turned ard, she could smell the strong BO cos her nose was also on the same as the guy's armpit. Disadvantage of being short...
