Have been listening to the radio for consecutively 2 days during work time =P Heard some real nice songs and some songs that reminds me of ppl... Especially when I heard Zhang Jing Xuan's and Zhang Dong Liang's songs... reminds me of a fren. Hmmm... mayB some of u noes who I'm talking bout but well, yah, reminds me of him.
I dunno isit cos I haven't gotten over him or I'm pitying him & trying to make him happier since the past sem for him was sucky. Have been chatting to him via MSN to console him cos he got quite stressed up over sth. Haven't been tokin bout this to any1 cos dun feel like thinkin bout it, but the songs juz reminds me of him...

Kiasuism in Singapore

Probably that's y I wanna book an Aloha chalet on 30th & 31st (Sat & Sun) & I can't. Singaporeans are kiasu.... Civil servant can start bookin the chalets 3 mths b4 the booking date, while members of public can do so 2 mths b4... So 1 mth b4 the booking date is considered late... Oh well....
Anyway work was boring... I only sorted & filed invoices today. Luckily my colleagues are quite nice ppl, so it's not so bad! =)

Eye For A Guy 2 (EFAG2)
I think perhaps I'm kinda late in making comments bout this show... Heh. But again, I've nothing to do @ home. The stupid agency haven't called me up yet!! AARRRGGGHHH.... I shall call em up later @ 3pm to confront em, haha. Btw, if u're not interested in this show or my comments on the show, u can skip this entry, =P.
Ok... The reasons y I watched this show was 'cos I quite like Denise Keller. And as compared to the female lead of EFAG, Rachel Lee, she's more intellectual and sporty. Rachel seems like a bimbo to me... And after watching the show, she's like a bimbo + bitch to me.... How can she do such a thing to Sivert???!! In the end, she broke with Mark Zee anyway. Ok, I digressed. Yah, so I watched EFAG2 'cos of DK.
After watching Episode 1, I already started to like Howard. He's very funny (funny as in humourous) though he's thought to be a geek (he works for Microsoft I think)! The disadvantage for him was he's too short... he's only 1.7m while DK's 1.71m. Haha. Anyway, I made my guess on episode 1 that he'll most probably win, cos he made a very good 1st impression on DK. Subsequently, he was always the 1st one that DK picked (to go on to the next episode, until Episode 6. So yah, after Episode 1, I kinda watch the show to see how well Howard fares.
Well, on Episode 4 actually (it was an episode on DK's bday), 2 NEW guys were added into the competition when there were only 3 contestants left, making 5 contestants now... And that's when Wolfgang came in with Christian (Christian was eliminated during Episode 5). I guess Wolfgang has already a plus point in the beginning 'cos he's also half-German, half-Chinese, like DK. Also, he's tall and good-looking. On Episode 5, Wolfgang gave DK a Cartier good luck charm pendent as a belated bday present (if I nv rmb wrongly, the necklace costs $8k!!). That's another plus point liao lor.
So anyway... I was still rooting for Howard. He's always giving DK a gift every wk, not expensive gifts, but v meaningful gifts that either he made em himself, or small gifts that he bought it from overseas during that week. I really liked the fairy tale that he made for DK, it's soooo sweet!! U can read up on his moblog at http://www.moblog.com.sg/blog/TheGuyOverThere. I was quite sad when I can't watch episode 7 & 8 'cos I was in Sri Lanka. Luckily my sis watches the show from episode 5 or 6 onwards & I told her to record the 2 episodes for me. During the last few days in SL, the leader, co-leader & facilitator of the next YEP group (they're takin over us) brought us Straits Times. There was this article on members of public seeing DK with Wolfgang hand-in-hand in Bali & there was even a photo of em. OMG, there it goes, Wolfgang shld be the winner then. But I still had little bits of hope that Howard will win instead.
The worst thing was I 4got to watch Episode 9 -- The Last Episode!! Aaarrrgghhh!! I only managed to catch the last few sentence that DK & Wolfgang were saying on the show... So obviously DK chose Wolfgang! Hai... Me & my sis all felt so sad for Howard... It muz have been hard on him. Cos in the contract that they signed, they're not tok bout the show with anyone, not even contestants from the show, until aft the episode was over. I read from somewhere that the show finished filming somewhere in late May. Imagine Howard has to put up a strong front so that ppl around him won't know of the results of the reality show! Hai...
If only they didn't add in 2 guys in b/w the game, Howard would've won. It's kinda mix feelings here. Feeling happy for DK & Wolfgang, but @ the same time, sad for Howard. But come to think of it, DK & Howard are not that compatible. So if let's say she chose Howard and realised that aft they're together, it'll be even more depressing for em. There's always a blessing in disguise behind every blow. =)

I found a job!!
Yes, finally... it's 99% though, the agency asked me to go down tml morn to sign contract. So until I sign the contract, it's only 99% confirmed, in case it's juz another false alarm... Though the pay is low ($5.50/hr), the work place is near my house, which means the to and fro journey will take less than 45min/day & my transport fees will be quite low too, heh.
Went out with Qiuling & Weixiang (my JC frenz) to buy Yati's present cos it's her bday party this Saturday. I met QL @ 3pm and went around Bugis Junction to shop about. WX came later @ 4+, nearly 5 & we showed him the bags & wallet that we've chosen (haven't bought yet). We couldn't come up with any decisions and so we went to MOS Burger to sit down & have a drink (WX ate his "so called" lunch, haha).
Then guess wat?! This ger with red hair (completely red!!) walked in with her fren & sat down at the table to our right. And since her hair was so AA (attract attention), I kept looking @ her. Then when I saw her side view, she looks like Stella Ng. The ppl @ the table opp. us kept lookin @ her too. But her hair was too red for Stella's image, so I tot she isn't. But her voice sounds like Stella Ng's. Me & WX were pondering over it while QL was on the phone with Huiling (she's meeting us for dinner). Actually come to think of it.... I read it from i-weekly that Stella is acting on some Channel 8 show & her role is supposed to have red hair!! So mayB I saw Stella Ng anyway... Haha.
When we were walking from Bugis Junction to OG, I saw Lirui, my pri sch fren!! Haha. Was talking to her abit & the rest were "caught" by this Planet Fitness (or wat was it? =/) guy who asked em to do survey. Then QL was like blaming me... Haha. But only HL & WX did the survey, aft that we juz say we're rushing for time =P.
And guess who WE saw next? Adeline!! (Another JC fren who's sharing the present with us) We saw her @ OG, aka her work place. The funny thing was I told Adeline we're meeting at Bugis to buy Yati's present but she told me she has to work till 9pm, so she can't meet up with us. And we walked all the way to OG to buy Yati's handbag. We were trying to look for a suitable one when WX was pointing to a directon and went, "Aye aye aye!!!" very excitedly & all 3 of us tot he saw a v suitable handbag. Haha. We turned & saw Ade. She was like, "Aye?! Wah!! No face already!!" Haha. N she told us that if we wanna buy sth that is of regular price, she can get it @ staff discount of 20%!!
We showed Ade the Levis handbag we saw but she say it's not really worth the money. We walked around OG for a while and found a suitable handbag!! A Guess handbag on discount!! And it looks stylish. Only QL commented that it looked like somebody's pants from back view -___-. Shall take the photo of it on Sat if possible & show it to u wat QL means by that, haha. We went back to where Ade stood & showed her the handbag & she say it's nice! (I've good taste =P)
Aft wrapping up the present @ the cust serv counter, we went to bide goodbye but couldn't see Ade around. So we waited for her outside. When I walked past the fitting room @ Ade's stall, some1 came out from it & I saw Otto (the senior whom I saw when me, Jiali, Joo, Gord & Eliz were waiting to go back to PS, aft the fire, on Tues). Such a coincidence lor!! He went, "Wahlao! I knew u were stalking me lar!" -__- Anyway, we decided to leave cos we can't find Ade.
That's all for the day... I've to sleep early cos gotta go agency by 11am tml to sign contract... Goodbye to late nites. =)

Welcome to The Truman Show
Yah...My life is so happening I begin to wonder if I'm on a show that's similar to The Truman Show. Haha. MayB call it The Amigo Show or sth, haha. MayB I shld change my blog title to "Laugh with The Amigo Show". =P
I 4got to add on the previous entry that aft the suay incident that happened last nite, I slept at 3am, even though I was saying goodbyes on MSN at 12+am. I shld've juz went to sleep @ 12+am and the suay incident wouldn't have happened to me... Serves me right...
Went to watch the 7pm Batman Begins with Jiali & Joo @ GV@PS juz now. The stupid adverts took 1/2 hour (luckily we entered only at 7.10pm). And at roughly 8pm, I recevied an sms & I opened n close my clamshell phone so that the service light will stop blinking. Then I saw this irritating red light at the exit that was blinking at the corner of my eye. I was wondering whether it's cos of some fire drill but I chose to ignore it cos the movie was STARTING to get exciting. Then Jiali was asking me, "How come the red light over there is blinking?" "I saw it juz now liao, v irritating lei!"
We continued to watch the movie until the screen blanked out 1 or 2 min later... Jiali then looked at her handphone since the lights came on. Then she realised that Carol SMSed her telling her there was a fire on the 2nd floor (she's working @ Kopitiam). A man then came in to tell us that there's a fire in the building and asked us to wait for further instructions for evacuation. Minutes later we were asked to evacuate. We could smell the smoke from the exit of the theatre lor... I tot it's quite serious, but could still hear some kids (teenagers to be exact) joking bout it. =/ But couldn't see the fire, could only see lotsa security guards, policemen and firemen on the 2nd level near Marks and Spencer.
We were walking down the building and saw that lotsa customers @ Swensens were queueing up to pay for their meals.... Thai Express still had customers inside... The SK Jewellery workers were keeping their jewellerys (they were near the exit, so don't need to be worried, haha). Saw these 2 gers near the entrance... 1 was with lotsa clips on the hair (think she was perming her hair when the fire happened), another 1 with unwashed hair (erm.... dun need to think wat she was doing when the fire happened lar hor?). Joo so bad lor, she was laughing @ em. Poor things. Saw my sec sch choir senior, Otto (u can spell his name backwards & still get his name!! Haha) passing by & waved. Was askin him if he rmb my name & he said, "Got sth Yen one rite? And also Meng1(he pronounced it as a Chinese word)..." Then I was like, "Wat Meng1?! It's Meng! Meng! (juz noe that I was trying to correct his pronounciation lar, haha)" Had a short tok with him. So glad that we were able to go back into the building cos the place was filled with smoking ppl (as in they were smoking cigarettes... not they were smokin cos they caught fire...).
Waited for like 1/2 hour outside the building lor... juz to wait for refund for the tix... Sianz... And it seems like the ppl walkin back into the building are going to the cinema one, hahaha. Anyway, mall smells of shit when we went back... Think might be something gotta do with the sewage pipe or sth. We didn't know wat to do for refunding of the tix and I called Peng ('cos he had similar incident @ the same cinema, haha). Oops!! I woke him up from his sleep!! Felt so paiseh. Anyway we got back only our tix price... ='( Had to go & look for a suitable day for the movie and havta book the tix again!! Sianz 1/2. Luckily Miao not @ PS for training @ nite, if not she'll be so damn busy refunding ppl $. Heh. We went home aft Carol finishes her work.
So far for my happening life. Now I've to kinda agree with Small Kel that my life is exciting, but I need to sleep (he commented that my life is exciting, dun need to sleep -___-), though it's 3.44am now. I'm really sleeping later & later... AAARRGGHHH

Scary sia...
I've always been quite scared of this guy from sec 3 & 4 class, let's call him G (randomly picked letter again). I'm not sure bout it but I tot G likes me cos of his actions. Example:
1. My locker is juz beside G's seat (our lockers are inside our classrooms). Then 1 fine day when I walked to my locker, he asked me, "Hey Mingyan, wanna go home together today?" I think that that's a weird question cos normally u won't ask a classmate if he/she wanna go home together during lesson time.
If it's me, I'll juz say, "Hey! Let's go home together!" when school dismisses. I got a shock when he asked me that, luckily I've choir aft sch. A wk later or so, the same thing happened. Luckily I've some Maths Olympiad training (I din join it in the end, haha =P). Aft that, he didn't ask me that question again.
But some other irritating things happened... I hate it when he tries to tease me bout sth that is not true (he was the only one who kept talkin bout it). There was this guy who sits behind me in class, let's name him F. F's a v "clowny" guy and me being a person who laughs easily, always laughs @ him or his jokes. I dunno y but G came up with a conclusion that I like F. DUH. Apparently, he's the only 1 who thinks so. -__- Example:
2. I write letters to this close guy fren of mine from another class. I was reading the letter on the bus when G got on the bus. He saw me reading the letter & asked, "Wat r u reading? Love letter ah?" "No lar, juz a letter from a fren..." "From who? F ah?" DUH!!
3. There was this CIP for us to sell Singapore flags (yes, Singapore flag, not the kinda sticker flags u see on flag days). We were split into groups to sell the flags (I rmb I was with Bingjia, Steven & Zhicheng). I was on bus 135 with G one day & he asked, "U v sad rite? U're not in the same group as F to sell the flags."
I was so irritated that I bluff him that I'm attached, "Can u stop talking bout me & F? My stead will get angry one!" (We like to use the word "stead" in sec sch mah, haha) He actually asked me, "Huh?? Do u noe the meaning of 'stead' not?" *faints* Of cos I noe lar!!
Later on when I turned sec 4, I was telling a guy fren bout it & that guy fren commented, "U die liao lar! If it's normal fren, he'll either say, 'Orh.... sorry.' or he'll say, 'U got stead?! Congrats!!' U die liao lar!" Well.. I dunno bout it. But I got kinda freaked out.
Also, he likes to associate me with my cousin. If u know bout my cousin, u'll know that I dun really like to be associated with her. Pls dun mistake that as I dun like her, of cos I like her! But I'm me!! I'm dun wanna be known as ________'s cousin. I've told a few ppl that already. Luckily for me, my frenz understands that and seldom tok bout my cousin. Anyway if u dunno wassup with my cousin, dun ask me ok =).
Aft sec sch life, I tot I won't be seeing him ever again... until a thing called Friendster pops out...
He messaged me via Friendster:
"G here... Happen to see your profile...
Still remember me???
SEC3 and 4 from CCHS??"
I got ultra shocked that he found me cos the link b/w us was 3 degrees (which means he's my fren's fren's fren). So I asked him how he found me & he replied:
"Filter those who put themselves as single loh... Haha.. No offense... I am single as well... Very cute photo you have there...
So hows life now??"
I immediately removed that photo... I got so freaked out.
Anyway dunno how long later, he asked me to add him on msn. I added him and blocked him juz in case he added me 1st & started tokin to me.
He told me b4 on Friendster that he's going NUS Engin. I wanted to checkout whether he's joining Engin O Week. If he's not, I'll go join as counsellor. If he's, I'll re-consider. Haha.
So I unblocked him last nite to ask him. Gotta noe he's going NTU Bizad & was so happy! Budden later on he asked me for my number... I was askin Joo & Lisheng how & G nudged me!! It was barely 2 min aft he asked me for the number lor! Both Joo & Lisheng told me not to give. I was thinking since I won't be seeing him, giving him the number won't harm. I WAS TOO STUPID!! I was wrong...
He then asked me wat is Orion cos my nick was "^Amgo^ still misses Orion" & I told him it's a expedition to Sri Lanka. He asked me to tell him more bout it & I think I was too tired... I accidentally said, "I blogged alot bout it" & he asked for my blog address. He went on askin me where I live & asked me to go out... So I avoided the qn of giving him my blog address. But I told him I'm not free this week & he said, "i know u r a busy person.. we can always meet up when u r FREE and COMFORTABLE" I wonder why he used CAPS for the words "free" and "comfortable"... Luckily he went offline aft that

I roughly rmb that some1 commented that my blog design is nice when I juz finished designing it. I then told him/her that I think it's nice too (Cos it's all in blue, muahahaha.) but the layout was kupped from some skins online. And the person went "Chey!"

Cute design rite? I din use it though, cos it looks kindda small. And I think by designing my own blog, I've some self-satisfaction, though I used the person's layout 'cos my table html codings are not as good, heh.
Btw, (to me) design = pictures, colours, fonts etc..., while layout = how the pictures and sub-headings (eg: profile, music, etc) are being arranged (in a table format).

Cute design rite? I din use it though, cos it looks kindda small. And I think by designing my own blog, I've some self-satisfaction, though I used the person's layout 'cos my table html codings are not as good, heh.
Btw, (to me) design = pictures, colours, fonts etc..., while layout = how the pictures and sub-headings (eg: profile, music, etc) are being arranged (in a table format).

Seriously speaking, I didn't expect WH to do that too, so I was quite shocked when I read the entry on Chris's blog.
MayB I already missed it once I stepped onto the bus that will bring us from Balapitiya to Colomobo. Well, like a Chinese phrase goes... 天下无不散之宴席 (which literally means there's no banquet that wouldn't end), everything comes to an end eventually.
From my blog's dashboard, I found out that I've been toking bout the trip or posting pictures taken during the trip for nearly all the entries. This made me realised that I keep thinkin bout the things in Sri Lanka and might sometimes kept blabbering bout our lives over there and start comparing the prices of stuffs over there as compared to Singapore to my frenz. I hope they can tahan that for a while more, until I don't miss there that much.
It started raining heavily at 1+am juz now and I start wondering whether the monsoon season has arrived and started to think bout the villagers in Balapitiya, whether it's raining heavily over the past days and whether our beds and shelves can tahan until now. Kinda funny tot but well, the reason for us to build the beds and shelves is cos the monsoon season is coming. If there's no beds for em, they'll have to sleep on the floor and when the monsoon comes in, they'll be sleeping in water.
Think every1's missing Sri Lanka, but we can only recall it from our memories. Can't wait to get hold of the photo cd-rom and develop the photos.
Arrgghhh. I can't even print out the photos (that was taken from my camera) now cos my IP3000 is on service. YES!!! I bought it for barely 4months and it died on me. The technician told me the feeder is spoilt, and the only reason is alignment of the papers that I insert. Quite DUH by it. But then... it only spoiled when my sister used it... So apparently it's not my fault? Hmmmm..... Muz be my sis liao lar, she's the destroyer. Everytime our PC spoils, it was she who was using it. Haha. Anyway.... the printer has gone for 1 week already!! I wonder when the technician will call me again. I want my printer that has think-tanks technology and automatic duplex system back!!!! (Yap! I'm trying to hao lian my printer cos I luv it so much, haha)
Btw, I bought this super duper cute 10" Baby Eeyore plush toy for myself on Sat for $9.90 at Mini Toons.

I showed to my sis aft I came back from shopping. And she asked me, "Where's the Eeyore that I gave u?" Then I suddenly realised I dunno where is that Eeyore plush toy she gave me!! And I didn't even took a picture of it before!!! I concluded that I've lost it when I'm trying to bring the plush toy over from home to hall. I felt so guilty... I hope it's somewhere in the house....
My sis asked me also, "How come u like Eeyore so much ah?" I also dunno!!!! I replied, "I juz like Eeyore lor... MayB it's blue in colour?" My sis gave me a duh look. Then juz now @ Ah Mah's house, Timothy wanted to watch Disney Playhouse channel on SCV cos there was Winnie the Pooh cartoons. Then I realised... Eeyore is actually more of grey instead of blue... No wonder I like Baby Eeyore more.... 'cos Baby Eeyore is in blue!! Haha.
Ok... I think I'm getting the crappy mood... I was talking nonsense to Joo juz now on MSN bout bears and pandas. Haha. Shall go sleep now since it's 2.53am. Sheesh... my sleeping pattern's not good. I should sleep earlier lest my mother keep nagging me to do so.

Here are the 3candid photos that we've taken b4 we left the temple for Colombo. They are super hilarious and I can't stop laughing once I saw em....
Nobody seems to be ready for the photo 'cept for Steph & Josh. Take note of Weicong's 哭笑不得 (literally translates to be cannnot cry nor laugh) face and Tainam's erm.... weird-looking face. Muahahhaa
Why are everyone on the right side looking towards the right 'cept for me??!! And I dunno wat on earth I'm doing!!!!! I think I was yawning or sth... haha
Although this is the most successful picture of the 3, we still have some people with weird expression like Steph and Weihan, and a person who is looking somewhere else like Weicong...

I finally ate cheesecake baked by a fren
Yap yap, for the 1st time, I ate cheesecake baked by a fren and not myself!! Chef of the day is Zhao Yong. Haha. Yay! It's not bad lar, u still say it's a failure -___-. But I realised when we were all eating the cheesecake, ZY din eat any. I think it's another case of I-don't-eat-the-cake-that-I-bake-in-front-of-ppl, cos that always happens to me too!! Haha. Oh! And our chef dyed his hair!! We were all so shocked.
That also explains y I'm posting an entry at 3+am... I only got home @ 3am from supper @ Aimei's house. I finally get to eat the roti tissue (I put the roti in front in case Lisheng tells me that I can find tissue easily @ home -___-) aft nearly 1 mth. Driver-of-the-day is Candy and not Bingjia! Heh. Thanx gal! Ur driving skills not bad lar! For once Bingjia can sit on the (front) passenger seat (ZY commented that it's named as the "death seat"). Heh.
Today happens to be a complain session 'bout work, even Aimei's sis joined in... But I'm jobless lei!! =/ Came to a point where every1 so agitated, every1 started toking and I dunno who to listen to. Then I placed my palms on my head and asked em to stop, then every1 started laughin.... Haha.
Die liao lar. Yesterday was 6 scoops of ice-cream, today was roti tissue, ice tehcino and cheesecake!!! Now I hope ZY chose the low-fat cream cheese that he was tokin bout. Din notice wat cream cheese he took the other day when we forced him to do ingredients shopping...
And I din go swimming as I've promised myself!! Arrrrggghhhh!! My 2kg's gonna come back!! Help me!!

幸福 but sinful and traumatising day
Ate the Swensen's offer today with Qiulin & Steph. I ate 6 scoops of ice-cream!! Haha.
1 Mango
1 Chocolate
1 Lime Sherbet
1 Frosted Chocolate Malt
2 Chocolate Peanut Buttercup
Felt so 幸福 but sinful from eating all the ice-cream. Seems like my 2kg that I shed away's gonna come back, haha.
Aft that went to Parkway to meet Aimei to do some ger shopping. =P. Bought Father's Day present (for my father of cos....).
Here comes the traumatising part of the day.
I received a call from this number: 8148**** (in case it's against the law or sth to reveal hp numbers online... I shall censor the last 4 numbers, haha). The person called me & when I said "Hello?", he kupped the phone. I tot it's some wrong-number-call.
But aft tt he sms me:
可以做朋友吗？别无恶意
When I asked him who he is & how he got my number, he replied:
你可以写话语吗？我是乱打得！我是KELWIN.你呢！
PS: I typed exactly wat he smsed me. YES! Including the errors!!
Then i replied saying, "If u want to sms in chinese, can u make sure u use the correct words? But I'm not interested. Bye"
He replied "你又知道我的华语写错!你有说你看不懂华语！我可以认识你吗？我只想跟你作朋友"
I replied "I didn't say I dun understand chinese. And stop harassing me or I'll report ur number to the police"
He replied "我只说我想做朋友，我也说别无恶意！你别想太多！但如果你要告诉警察我也没办法丫！我只能跟你说生SORI"
I decided not to reply him... can't be bothered...aft I decided to ignore him he sent an sms again:
"I think never mind, because you can not be friend? so i wish you have a nice day! My eng. Not gd. So sorry! ......."
How can there be such a person??!! I bet he's a PRC. No offence, cos he's obviously using hanyu pinyin to type simplified Chinese words and his English is not good. Only Singapore and China uses simplified Chinese words (from wat I noe).
N U might think I'm an idiot to reply him. I shall explain y I replied him:

How come guys can take this so lightly ah?! -___- If it's a ger calling u guys up, I wonder wat ur rxn will be...So much for my day. Come to think of it, my uni life is sometimes too much for me to take it... *faints*

The agent called me today @ 5+pm to remind me of the interview time (9am) tml (or rather, later). Called me again @ ard 6pm again to tell me of the postponed time (10am). Called me the 3rd time @ 6+pm to tell me the interview was cancelled cos the position is taken....
Now u understand the meaning of that Chinese phrase, heh. Or perhaps I can say that it's kinda like "bringing me up to a high place and throwing me down from there". Though not as serious as that, but I really dunno how to translate lar! =P
But it may be a blessing in disguise! (Blessings-in-disguise always happen to me =D) I heard from XXX (his identity is being protected juz in case) whose sister is working in Starhub told me that Starhub has a lot of difficult customers. Which reminds me of Aimei & her sister!! =X But AM agreed with me juz now, haha. Perhaps she was trying to console me *hmmm*...
Went to trim my hair today in the aftnn @ the neighbourhood salon I always go. A new lady helped me washed and cut my hair. My goodness... she is so slow... but her service is good I muz say. She helped me cut my hair quite nicely. Met Dua Yi (Big Aunt, my mother's eldest sister) @ the salon (she washes her hair there everyday) & she offered to pay for me. (V^_^V) Not a bad day afterall.
Anyway... here's somemore interesting (erm... @ least to me =P) photos on Orion, courtesy of Small Kel & Tainam.

A day of coincidences @ Orchard
As u all noe... I'm jobless now... cos I had to spend 2 wks for my YEP, I didn't apply for any jobs/agencies.
Went to jobstreet.com on Sun & applied for a work that Recruit Express posted up. Got a call from a consultant (yah, they call it consultant... =/) yesterday, askin me to go down to their office @ Orchard to fill up the form & a short interview. Went today @ 11+am. There were sooo many ppl when I reached there... seems like next time u wanna go agency, u'd better go in the early morning, if not u'll have to wait for damn long. Luckily for me, I noe who to look for (the consultant who called me... DUH) and I only spent 1/2 hour there. Saw Shuzhan there.
Went on to shop around in Orchard. Bought a pair of Giordano pants (@$27) cos it was on 40% discount, heh. While waiting for my pants to be altered (of cos muz alter lar... my legs are so short...), I went around shopping again! Haha. Bought another polo tee @ Bossini @ $12. I rmb I told some1 b4 that I dun like polo tees, but somehow, I wanted to buy 1 juz now, mayB cos of the price, haha.
Stepped into Watson's after that cos I need to buy my facial wash. Goodness! My ZA facial wash is @ half-price! Haha. Then walked around the shop & saw the Neutrogena masks at $5 cheaper & grabbed 1 box. When I wanted to go over to the cashier, a Neutrogena promoter approached me & told me they've a free on-the-spot trial for their masks & also a free manicure. Haha. Since I wasn't rushing for time and I'll be buying the Neutrogena mask anyway (so I won't feel paiseh for not buying anything aft their service), I went ahead. Tried this mask that's supposed to be for tired and irritated face, v cooling, =P. The manicure was good! Better than the one that I spent @ $15 at Far East. The ppl there (the Neutrogena promoter & the manucurist) are v frenly too! Aft that went to KFC to eat lunch cos I miss their Benditto =P. It has been a long time since I last ate fast food u see =D. Aft lunch, was browsing thru Taka's Talking Hall (they were having a casual bazaar) when the Recruit Express lady called to tell me that there's a job available. Starhub retail assistant, jobscope: attend to customers in the shop, $7/hr, 2wkends+3wkdays/wk. When I say I'll take the job, she told me there's another interview on this Thurs, 9am at Recruit Express. She went on saying attire will be smart casual, sth like a polo tee n jeans. HAHAHA. Today is a day of coincidences (recall: 1-met Shuzhan @ Recruit Express, 2-wanted to buy mask n got a free mask + manicure, 3-bought a polo tee for no reason but was asked to wear a polo tee for interview)!!!

Went to jobstreet.com on Sun & applied for a work that Recruit Express posted up. Got a call from a consultant (yah, they call it consultant... =/) yesterday, askin me to go down to their office @ Orchard to fill up the form & a short interview. Went today @ 11+am. There were sooo many ppl when I reached there... seems like next time u wanna go agency, u'd better go in the early morning, if not u'll have to wait for damn long. Luckily for me, I noe who to look for (the consultant who called me... DUH) and I only spent 1/2 hour there. Saw Shuzhan there.
Went on to shop around in Orchard. Bought a pair of Giordano pants (@$27) cos it was on 40% discount, heh. While waiting for my pants to be altered (of cos muz alter lar... my legs are so short...), I went around shopping again! Haha. Bought another polo tee @ Bossini @ $12. I rmb I told some1 b4 that I dun like polo tees, but somehow, I wanted to buy 1 juz now, mayB cos of the price, haha.
Stepped into Watson's after that cos I need to buy my facial wash. Goodness! My ZA facial wash is @ half-price! Haha. Then walked around the shop & saw the Neutrogena masks at $5 cheaper & grabbed 1 box. When I wanted to go over to the cashier, a Neutrogena promoter approached me & told me they've a free on-the-spot trial for their masks & also a free manicure. Haha. Since I wasn't rushing for time and I'll be buying the Neutrogena mask anyway (so I won't feel paiseh for not buying anything aft their service), I went ahead. Tried this mask that's supposed to be for tired and irritated face, v cooling, =P. The manicure was good! Better than the one that I spent @ $15 at Far East. The ppl there (the Neutrogena promoter & the manucurist) are v frenly too!
