Complains again

This is the situation I saw when I took 43 home from Parkway Parade today...

A ger occupying 2 seats on the crowded bus...

Her face isn't in the picture so I don't think it's an abuse of her privacy. When I got on the bus she was already sleeping on the outer seat and leaving her bag on the inner seat, already tot that she's being v inconsiderate. Later on the bus got more and more packed and I didn't manage to see her head falling sideways, until... the people beside my seat got down the bus.... and I saw her in this position. She woke up periodically to see if she missed her stop, then go back to sleep sideways again.

Quite pissed off with this ger, so I snapped a pic of her. =X. Haha. Anyway, if any1 happens to noe a TJC Year 1 girl who was from TKSS (@ least this is wat I can deduce from the skirt that she's wearing)and takes bus no. 43, ask her if she's the one. Damn inconsiderate can? If she wanna sleep, she can jolly-well sleep on the inner seat with her bag on her lap instead of occupying 2 seats (during evening peak hours somemore!!!).

I seriously hate meeting inconsiderate ppl on the bus.... For example, The Yellow Sling Bag Guy... that is if u can rmb, haha. If not, juz click on the link to go read on that entry, lol.

Anyway, 1 of my fren, CLOSE fren somemore, juz told me 2 days ago that shes attached. And how long was she attached b4 she told me? 4 days. Wat a good fren she is loh. 4 days. Tsktsk. But anyway, congrats to this fren!! Wahahaha. I knew this will happen sooner or later. So shy loh, somebody, if I didn't manage to psycho u, I think the rest will only noe it when u get married... =/ And yes, u've my blessings -_-, wat a stupid question to ask me loh...

Ok, the last paragraph was considered as 1/2 a complain, haha.

Late photos

I'm sorry ppl, I said I'll post the photos of Sun Yanzi's concert, turns out that the photos are damn blur cos my phone camera is only 1Megapixels and I could only do a 4X digital zoom...

These are the fans from Yanzi's fanclub before the concert. They're a whole bunch of crazy ppl... screaming and shouting...


See wat I mean by damn blur? I wasn't THAT close to her cos the stage was big and she was most of the time in the centre of the stage... Anyway this is how she started the 1st song.


As expected, the spiral stairs will raise to some height above the stage and she'll walk to the top of the stairs.


FIR was the guest for the concert. The keyboardist is being blocked by Faye. Btw, Faye's performance was much better since the last time I heard her live in Singapore Hit Awards in 2004...

This is one of the closest and clearest pix I've taken for that nite. I like the dress! Reminds me of Belle in Beauty and the Beast. (PS: The dress is actually yellow... Haha.) I think somewhere after this there was supposed to be a video... but there was some technical problems and they didn't play the video in the end....


Very blur pic, but on the TV screen, u can see that she's actually playing a piano (grand piano!!). She's singing Wo Yao De Xing Fu... Kinda sad cos I heard that during the concert in HK last year, her ex-bf was there n when she was lookin at him when she was singing the song....


This is one of the closest and clearest pic too. I think she's most comfortable with jeans, haha. She sang a medley in her jeans.


Another guest of the day, Tanya. The 2 of em sang Yuan Dian and Mo Sheng Ren together.

She made us do Kallang wave for 1 of her song. Haha. After this she was supposed to end the concert. BUT....


Obviously the encore was planned... cos she changed to another costume!! Haha. And after she left the backstage, the lights of the stadium were still off... How to leave lydat??!! Lol. But there were still some kiasu ppl who left. She ended her concert with her 1st song: Tian Hei Hei. Of cos the whole crowd sang "Ti orh orh" with her.


And there were small pieces of papers flying down from the top of the stage when it REALLY ended.

Anyway, some figures I got from issue 429 of I-Weekly...

I suddenly have the urge to eat the Enormous Omelette Sandwich on Fri nite, so I decided to go eat the breakfast the next day, didn't care that I was alone, haha.

And on Sunday midnight, I wanted to check out the freebies @ Hooked magazine, so I went to the magazine site and I saw this:

My nice timetable

I've like a useless 2-hr break for all my 4 days...

Anyway the timetable is saved as a jpg using fineprint. Haha. Classes with grey fonts are optional actually. But I just hate 2-hr breaks... cos when u've 2-hr breaks, u'll eat ur lunch slowly, which makes it 1+hr. Aft that, u'll juz slack ard till lesson time comes.

Anyway it's CE Club's OCC juz now. Got a serious hiccup but it was solved (luckily).

Another 2 concerts in 1 week (Part I)

If u realised... I went to 2 concerts in 1 week somewhere in November, history is repeating itself!

Went for Gong Shi Jia's concert today @ Temasek Hall. Her live performance was really good. Thanx to Qiulin for askin Junxing for the tix.

And she even did unplug...

To my surprise, she was very sporty during her days in TH @ NUS & she looked v tanned...

Somehow I felt that her live performance was better than her CD. =X

While Lisheng went to get her album & autograph, me & Miao took the opportunity to take photo with Peifen, hehe.

Anyway this is juz a short update. Going Yanzi's concert tmr!! Will try to take more pix, =D

Weak me

I'm sick again boohoo...

With regards to the previous entry.... I started to feel nauseous when I was leaving home for lessons. When I reached school, b4 going for lecture, I actually vomited aaaa bit in the toilet, cos I only had a bao & tea for breakfast.

I tot that's the end of story, but aft my lunch of fish bee hoon, I vomited again @ YIH's toilet....

Me: Aye, I wanna go toilet
Lisheng: Huh? I tot u juz went b4 lunch?
Me: I'm now not going to do my business....
LS: Oh, u feel like vomitting ah?...

And I puked my whole lunch out... wanted to see doc @ YIH, but they'll only be opened @ 1.30. So LS waited for the doc with me. Then when we went in to see the doc... the current number was 142 and my number was 153.... So juz asked LS to go for lessons 1st. But less than 5 min aft he left, the number was at 146, then it jumped to 153.... Haha. Lucky me. The doc gave me anti-acid syrup & pills that prevent me from vomitting...

Thanks to LS btw! And also thanx to Steph & Art cos they went Marina Square to help me (or rather, my sis...) to get SHE's autograph on their newest album. They queued for more than 2 hours!! Hope u 2 had a happy 5th month =)

Then on Tues, I woke up @ 11.30am to bid for Einstein's Universe tut slots... which is 1st come 1st serve basis... duh... and I woke up with a block nose. Damn it... Then went to Parkway to meet Aimei to shop around & drank yet another Belgian Chocolate Latte. (Ok, the previous one I drank was Ice Blended). Aft that met my parents to look @ washing machines @ Harvey Norman & we settled @ Siam Kitchen for dinner with my 3rd aunt, parents, sis & maid. Not a bad place. My aunt wanted to queue for this jackpot thingy aft dinner, so I decided to leave for aiport 1st to send Merv off.

Charles ah, told me it's terminal 2.... The comical thing was... Amy called me when my bus juz left terminal 1 and I could hear my bus break squeakily from her phone & I asked her where she was. Hahaha. So in the end I met Charles @ terminal 2 & we took sky train over & Charles commented that it was the 1st time he's taking a sky train O_O. Merv got quite lotsa ppl sending him off!!

And his NUS frens r sitting with me, Charles, me, Jen, Carol, Amy, Eliz & his YEP fren called Chin Chao, (hey! don't laugh @ ppl's name! =D) Hey Merv! I hope u didn't cry on the airplane, haha. Thanx for the sms u send b4 ur plane took off. =D

Hai, yet another fren off for SEP... Charles was saying that he didn't wanna hug Merv cos he's afraid that he might cry & won't let Merv off. Awwww..... Ok lah, he's serious bout the crying part but jokin bout the "won't let off" part. Haha. Well, next to go is Jen. Poor Jen, she has to leave days b4 CNY... =(

Anyway... so now here I am, with a block nose... Arrghhh. Why can't the weather be not so cold?? It's super cold for the past few days loh. Hai... I don't even need to open the windows or on the fan when I sleep. The only blessing in disguise is I can't smell the new paint on my bedroom's wall tonight, haha. And this is my father who wrapped a cloth about his hair, so funny, haha...

Ok lah, I shan't be such an ungrateful child. Thanx to my dad who painted our rooms!!

Bad aft-effects of coffee

1st time in my life, I only sleep for ard 3hrs during school time.... from 4+ to 7+...

That's the after effects of coffee @ 8+pm + a stupid howling dog opp my block + being ba-gua @ heart... I tried to sleep @ 2am... but I couldn't fall asleep. @ 3+am I felt thirsty, so I woke up to drink some water & also look @ how many % my BTs are, then I saw Jiali online! Being the ba-gua me I started toking to her. Haha. In the end I went back to sleep @ 4am... And Merv was psychoing me not to sleep!! Grrrr...

Anyway.... that's a lesson learnt loh. But miraculously, I'm not feeling tired now & I could wake up immediately aft the alarm rang!! Hmm.... I hope I won't have motion sickness later on the bus...

Some thoughts of 2005

I know this entry comes kinda late, haha, but well, it's still better than nv!

The major event that happened in 2005 to be is of cos the YEP trip to Sri Lanka. Enjoyed the trip alot alot. It's really once in a lifetime experience. Learnt that we can lead simple lives yet be happy. And of cos, from the return trip, I'm being reminded that I need long hours of sleep b4 boarding a plane... I "merlioned" twice on the return trip... cos the trip required us to transit at KL. Kinda dramatic cos u can see from the screen on the plane that we were reaching grounds, then "Blleeeeeaaaahhhh...", I vomited into the paper bag (the one that Mr Bean played with when he was on the plane with a little boy). I think it's the air pressure lah, haha.

I think many of u heard enuff about the trip le lah. If I'm not controlling myself, think I'll go on yakking on the trip. Haha. I posted quite a lot of entries on the trip. If u haven't seen em, u can try go to read June entries under archives.

The trip will always remain in the heart of the 13 of us. =)

The next major thing is of cos the scrapping of my father's van and not buying anymore vans. 1st time in my life, I'm taking public transports with my family (ok, years ago we went Chinese Garden on MRT, but that's a different story...). It's really time my mother should learn to be not so dependent on my father for transport. Haha. But sometimes it's kinda irritating cos my father will ask me "Does bus number [insert number] goes to [insert place]?" Then when I said, "No..." B4 I can reply him that I'll check for him..., "Then does bus number [insert another number] goes to [insert same place]?" -_- He's juz inserting the bus number in random loh... As for my mother... she juz follows us along, haha. And I realised w/o public transport, my family tend to have more weekend dinner outside & my parents like Seoul Garden alot, dunno why...

Also, having this maid of mine, is like having another person to tok to @ home, cos she's 25 years old, ard our age. Think my parents quite like her cos my mother was like saying that she'll buy her a pair of earrings on her 26th bday (her bday is end of Jan).

Next, it's the year which I've been to sooo many 21st bdays, of cos including mine. Thanx to all those who showed up & those who gave me presents =D. Aren't we getting old? Hai...

Finally watched Narnia...

I finally watched my Narnia movie today with Aimei, aft postponing it for a few times. Haha. Well, it was a nice movie! The background graphics aren't that good, but the graphics they did for the animals are quite good!! I was wondering if the lion is a real one... Anyway I think I like fantasy movies like this and Lord of the Rings, haha.

And yesterday (Wednesday), I went Carls Jr with AM & Lisheng... Take a look @ the bacon chicken sandwich that AM bought which costs her $7+...

Whoever started Carls Jr sure has a big mouth... Anyway the burger I ate was ok (think it was some bacon cheeseburger...), taste like BK to me... and it's EXPENSIVE!! My set meal costs $8.80 (it was one of the cheapest). Drinks are refillable though, but the fries kinda sux. If u want, u shld change the fries to criss-cut fries (looks interesting) or mayB onion rings (but I think the onion rings has one whole ring of onion inside instead of the normal mashed onions...). Overall, I don't think I'll go back to Carls Jr to eat soon cos it's too filling & expensive for me. I can have a hot and nice plate of pasta @ Pasta Mania with that price...

And I realised I didn't post pictures on my Xmas eve & New Year's eve...

Gasp!! Greedy mini Eeyore finished the log cake??!! Haha. Photos taken by my sis @ Ah Mah's house. We were having a Xmas party there till 11pm. Aft the log cake we had...................

Chocolate fondue!!!! And we dipped banana with the chocolate! Yum²~ Joo dun be jealous ah, hehe.

On Xmas day, I went to collect the Coffee Bean log cake that I ordered online...

Cost only $32 for a 1.2kg log cake! And it's yummy!!

& I bought a Peppermint Vanilla Ice Blended....

They gave a candy & even wrote "Merry Christmas" on the cap! But I 4got wat's the name for this candy... Haha.

It's not that I'm unthankful... I'm really thankful for having this system instead of queueing up outside the lecturer's office (overnight) to register for modules. It's juz the planning of the modules that sux.

I was only planning 2 core mods and yet the mods that I wanna take has their exams on the same day as my only 2 core mods... pathetic and desperate situation... in the end I had to take a lvl 4000 module that has its lessons from 6 to 9 on Thurs, which is my planned free day.... and I changed my whole plan, now I'm taking 5 mods most prob, so that I won't feel cheated with a 5-day week... (I even told Chris & Weicong that if I'm taking 4 mods n I've a 5-day week, I can go kill myself, haha)

Well well, I'm starting to feel sian b4 the sem has start... That's not a good sign...

I really think they are stupid. Why??

1. January was spelled as Jenuary, TWICE... (I wonder what countries these scammers are from...)
   
2. The email came from agentcamelot_139@msn.com... if it's really a lotto company, they shld have their own unique domain
3. Mrs Jane Littlewood asked me to send email to Mr. Duke Edwards at camelotproms112@yahoo.co.uk... again, a free email a/c instead of company domain.
4. And from the message source of the email... the email originated from an hotmail account instead of an msn account...
5. There's an obvious irregularities in the aligning of the email. Since it's an official email, it should look nicer!!
6. And the most impt thing is... I DIDN'T BUY ANY UK LOTTO, HOW THE HELL WOULD I WIN IT?!

I think I'm a bit 重色 but it's really these simple SMSes from him that makes me chuckle. =P Somehow he juz brightens up my day with these SMSes. =)

Happy 2006~!

This New Year's Eve is a quiet one for me... Last year's NYE was a happening one. Well... it's ok lah, I'm kinda tired also. @ least I spent some time watching Taiwan countdown programme with my family, for the 1st time in my life (cos normally we watch Singapore programmes, which kinda sux). But still, it ended kinda early, my mum went to sleep aft she finished watching her fav singer sing on the programme...

And I went to the BBQ that ended the earliest in my whole life... 8.10pm!! Lol. And to think I reached the place @ 7pm. Haha. But my colleagues were there @ 5pm I think. They started fire in the periodic rain (periodic == rain, stop, rain, stop...). Felt kinda guilty. Then they asked me to finish all the food if I'm guilty, cos they can't eat anymore. Haha. Aft that walked to Parkway with 2 of em to collect my pants that I sent for altering & walked around to shop for a while since it has been quite a long time since I last went to Parkway.

So not a lot of things happened juz now loh. Haha. Now that Jiali and Joo (aka Ah Li & Bobo) is already overseas... I'm like having 2 lesser MSN kakis... so sad... u gals ah, muz update ur blog ah! We'll miss the 2 of u!
