End of busy week

I actually wanted to post this entry on Sunday but Blogger had sth wrong with the uploading of photos, so I only update this entry now...

Finally it's the end of my busy week and the start of my mid-term break...

That's the summary, juz to let u see how many days I spent on school work cosecutively. Haha. Shall start elaborating from Wed onwards...

Wednesday, 14th Sept

Reached sch @ 9+am to study my transport test while ponning my structural lect. I'm gonna flung my transport test. But it's ok. Everyone's gonna die together, which means moderation!! Muahahaha. Aft that dun really feel like moving, juz feel like slacking ard outside my LT. So I slacked ard, while toking to Qiulin, Steph & Weicong till it's nearly 6. My initial plans of going Parkway to buy Tina's bday present and Swensen's ice cream mooncake was cancelled cos I juz feel like slacking for the day...

Thurs, 15th Sept

Feel so stupid to go school... I attended the transport lect, which was aaa bit useful and then went for engin prof, which was a waste of my time... (basically this module is stupid...)

Aft that I met Lisheng & Zhao Yong for lunch & I went Orchard to walk ard to buy Tina's & also my sis's bday present. Got a The Dog - Maltese calendar for Tina (cos her dog is a Maltese), and a dog handphone holder that barks when a call or sms comes in.

Rush home aft that to bathe, print card, then left home. Chew Ying waited for me for nearly 1/2 hr. Haha. Paiseh lah.

The gathering was really fun! Tina was wearing a Kimono cos her maternal great-grandma is a Japanese. We were all hiding behind the sofas and walls when she started to walk out & her father signal us to jump up & we juz did w/o knowing wat to do. So we juz went, "AAAHHH!!!" Then some1 started singing the Happy Bday song... Haha. No chance to take photo of Tina's shocked face.

Anyway aft that we all had dinner. Tina's mum is a great cook! All the food taste so nice. Yum! N CY ate 4 eggs in total loh... She's in luv with the eggs that Tina's mum cooks. Haha. Oh! And did I mentioned that Tina's mum is a great fortune teller too? She graduated with a degree in fortune telling back in Taiwan. So interesting! Met a couple of my JC 1st 3 mths classmates there (cos my 1st 3 mths class was Tina's class aft 1st 3 mths, haha).

V fun gathering, with Tina's mum doing most of the talking haha. And Lucky is still as cute as ever!! Though I dun think Lucky recognises me anymore. (Btw, Lucky is her dog.)

Fri 16 Sept

Engin Day!! Wanted to go early to helpout, budden had GEM tut @ 2pm. This module's tutor is really wasting my time. He toked bout his army life during that tut...

Well but Engin Day was fine. 'cept that we've been listening to Aqua's "Happy Boys, happy girls" whole day long 'cos Tai Nam used this song to make our video. The video juz brings back our memories on Orion. Weicong was so sian of the song he plugged the speaker into his laptop and played his mp3s instead. Lol. The sales for our stall was better than wat I've expected, heh.

Anyway the only entertainment was Engin Idol, with a Michael Jackson imitator as the winner... Eric from my lecture grp who got into top 50 for Project Superstar only won 2nd runner up. Think his voice wasn't in a good shape that day. Here's 4 supporters of Eric. Haha...

At the end of the day, I celebrated MAF with Amy, Cailing, Carol, Charles, Eliz, Gord, Jen, Jiali and Joo. V fun time! Thanx Gord for da-baoing dinner for us! The hor-funs muz have been damn heavy. Anyway we tried writing "mooncake!" using the sparklers but cannot cos we're not fast enuff for Jen's camera (we also dunno how to set her shuttle speed). Too bad.

Sat 17 Sept

Slacked @ home. Went out @ nite to Parkway to get Swensen's mooncakes (4 for $14 only!!) and also sent the photos for developing. Shopped ard Parkway also. Saw Hwee Hwee on the bus. She was on her way home from her church camp.

Sun 18 Sept

Centennial Run!! Woke up @ 6am... @_@ So damn tired & it was such a nice weather to sleep... When I wanted to leave home, it suddenly rain! (Does this sentence sound familiar? =P) Budden it was raining damn heavily and the wind was v strong. So I had to leave home abit later loh.

Saw small Kel when I reached clubroom & the 1st thing he did aft greeting me was to show me his umbrella, which has its handle dropped out... Qiulin had already started to walk to SRC with the goods & was @ old U-hall, so we started walking also. I tot QL will wait for us @ the old U-hall, so we walked down the slope from E4 to old U-hall. But no loh... Actually me & Kel shld've walked the shorter way to SRC instead... Anyway, it was the 1st time I walked from Engin to near Sci loh! Cos the carnival was nearer to Sci than SRC grand stand.

Business wasn't good cos it was raining... Here's our best salesman of the day, Yeeming!

But well, there were entertainments now and then! Like realising Ronghua aka Xiaohua dances Salsa!! Took a photo of him dancing with a mei nu. Haha...

And there was this little kid who's 6 years old and damn cute on the drums! Saw him b4 on TV...

Came to a point when I was hiccupping and it can't stop. And it happens that Law fac setup a balloon stall beside us. Then a balloon burst... I continued hiccupping. I only stopped hiccuping when the 2nd balloon burst. Haha

I actually wante to continue updating yesterday and today but I realised there were too many photos to put, so I shall seperate em as another entry!

Btw, I've removed the flash animation from my previous entry cos Cousin Weiying complained that I upload too many things and she dl v slow... Hehe. Paiseh lah. =P

Ok, that's enuff on friendships. My sprained foot is getting much better. I think by end of this week I'll be able to walk normally.

Anyway this busy week is ending. I had to submit Geotech assignment on Tues but dateline was extended till yesterday. CE lecturers are nice. So I suppose that the Struct II assignment dateline will be postponed from tmr to next week. =D Finished my proj on designing a building wrt wind load. Here's the ugly building of me, Chris & WC:

Joke of the week: I was askin my sis to re-scan my assignment for me cos when I finished scanning the 1st time, she accidentally cancelled the compiling process. I asked her to save the file as "Geotech assignment 1" & she saved it as "joetech assignment 1".

I sprained my foot

My foot is now officially swollen… Anyway… u’ll laugh when hear the reason why I sprained my foot…

I juz came out from lab & was somewhere near Engin canteen where some roadwork were going on. I saw a guy who’s ard 10m away & seems to have the same bag as me & was trying to see if I know him. The next moment I know, I sprained my foot cos the road wasn’t flat! Gggrrrr…

The immediate pain was unbearable, but aft a min or so the pain went off & me, Cailing & Weihan proceeded to the canteen for lunch. But aft lunch I found out that I can’t walk w/o feeling the pain in my foot…

Anyway… the pain got worse since then. I had a hard time walking from LT2( down the slope to LT6( down the slope to Computer Centre bus stop. Luckily there were slopes, easier to walk than stairs (I always tot it’s the opp… well I guess a sprained ankle is different from a sprained foot).

And I tot when I reached home I can get immediate treatment from my father. But well… he’s out to work @ the clinic… I feel so tired… I shall go take an afternoon nap…

My sister is an asshole

Yes, I'm obviously angry with wat she has done.

I came out from shower aft a tiring day, feeling refreshed, & she actually said to me, "Ur alcoholic chocolates, I'm gonna finish it even though I ate em slowly." With a duh look on her face (she's trying to imply that I'm eating my stuffs @ a v slow speed).

So wat am I angry with? WTH!! She KNOWS that the chocs are my bday present! And she don't even have the sorry look on her face or even say sorry. And I tot a 16-years old-girl is old enuff to noe that she is in the wrong in this situation. When I started screaming @ her, she repeated her sentence, emphasizing on "I ate em slowly". So wat's ur pt? U still ate my chocs w/o my permission. Wat's the difference b/w stealing $50 @ a time and $10 daily over 5 days? Imagine me touching ur bday present w/o ur permission, how do u feel?

I hope I can get the respect I'm supposed to get. I'm ur ELDER sister and yet u're taking me for granted. MayB I shld get sth so that I can lock my stuffs all inside, including a small fridge mayB.

MayB u guys think I'm getting angry over sth v minor. I dun care. I'm angry n I juz wanna complain.

Final decision for SEP

That's it, I've decided not to go for SEP. There's no more turning back, I've already sent email to both Ding Mei @ CE office & Dawn @ Dean's office.

Module mapping is such a tiring thing to do, esp if u're in CE Dept. So much for all the time I've spent trying to map 5 miserable modules juz to get 2 rejected 'cos the total number of hours is less than 40h. So much for the 买东西吃东西...

I realise that as I grow older, I become more indecisive. A nice way to say it is that I look @ things from both sides. Another way to say it is that I'm fickle-minded.

Well @ least I get to see how my transcript looks like... all my Cs & Ds I got in the past...

Birthday celebrations every week

1st it was Jen's super belated bday treat, then it was Amy's, and we juz had Merv's on Sat...

Went KTV in the morning. Jiali looks abit ghostly here (cos I was taking the picture then she suddenly moved to make the peace sign). Haha.

We woke up early for KLunch but we're still feeling happy! =D Cos it has been a long time since any of us went KTVing... But stupid KBox... they told us that we didn't make any reservations so we can only sing till 1.30pm. How come got such a regulation one?! *&^%$#@! Then when me & Amy reached the place (Jiali, Joo & Merv were on their way), the system had problems!! Wasted our 15min... In the end we still had to leave @ 1.40pm.

We met the rest @ 2.32pm (Charles set the time one... he has a weird habit of setting weird time, haha) @ PS, so we strolled and strolled from Cineleisure to PS.

Jimmy reached PS b4 any1 & he helped us reserved seats @ Manhattan Fish Market. Merv chose the place & since he's the bday boy, we had to agree with him lor, =/.

The food was not bad but Fish n Co. serves nicer food than Manhattan. But well, their service is very good! They allowed us to bring in cake from Swensens & even brought us plates & knife for cake-cutting and -eating. But the knife is so butcher-knife-looking....

It looks like the kinda knife a serial killer uses, as demonstrated by Amy below....

I was so damn scared of that knife can? So sharp! But a sharp knife is good for Swensen's ice-cream cake. Cos as u can see..... Merv is cutting the cake here...

He's trying VERY hard to cut the cake, even with the super sharp knife....

Something I found out... Why did Merv only fold up 1 side of his sleeves? Haha. I know I abit digress lar, =P.

That was on Sat... On Fri... I went to yet another bday party, Candy Ho's bday party @ SAF Changi Chalet. That place was very ulu!! I took 154--> 2--> 29. When I got on 29, I saw Lay Kiat, Josh & Kel Koh, who took 29 from Tampines. They were like, "Why on earth are u boarding the bus @ such a ulu place?!" Haha. And they had no idea where to alight. Luckily I came well prepared! I had a printed A4 size piece of paper with bus 2 & 29 guide on it. Josh tot it was notes... DUH.

Yah anyway... 1 of Candy's frens look like Yiling (my LEO club fren). But I dun dare to go ask her cos she dun look like she noes me... Haha.

Yiping was also invited and I started gossiping with her when I saw her.

Ok, gtg shower then go eat lunch with colleagues liao. But I skipped GEM lect today. Hehe =P.

All males are polygamy in nature

Guy fren B was teasing guy fren C when C commented on kids nowadays, "I wonder how ur kids will be like aft u get married..." C replied that he's thinkin that he might not get married in future.

@ 1st I tot that it's juz like the kinda of statement that meant, "I might not even get a ger to get married with." But he continued saying sth like (I can't rmb wat he said exactly) if 2 ppl are happy living together, then getting married doesn't sound necessary. I got a shock. But I'm not sure whether I showed it out. Hmmm...

He continued explaining that men are pressurized by women to get married. Of cos there can be exception, but for most of the times, that's the case. Cos all males are polygamy in nature, including animals, "maybe except for penguins", as quoted from C. He went on tellin us to think bout animals mating, that male animals will have more than 1 mating partner, 'cept for penguins whereby both the male & female of each couple take turns to hatch the egg & take care of the young penguins.

Which makes me think of "All men are lao se". Haha. But I think this sentence (as in MY sentence) is true. Which reminds me of wat my sis told me b4, that she dun wanna get married next time, cos all men are lao se. =/ I tot all females will always dream of how grand and beautiful their wedding is? I suppose there's exception in this case too.
