This is a super belated post in remembrance of my 2006....
1st off, of cos the most significant things that happened loh... Able to go Korea during winter time~! And super subsidised somemore =D I muz say it was really fun to go with a bunch of friends, and of cos, getting to know friends from other countries too!
Aft that will definitely be the departure of my grandma loh. Even though I've mentioned it lotsa times, but oh well, regrets are regrets. And lemme nag somemore, pls visit ur grandparents as often as possible if they're still alive. Don't regret like me when they pass away... My only console now is that I managed to see her though unconscious, but she was still breathing...
And for the 1st time in uni life, my uni girls only left me & cai in Singapore. Had to celebrate Jiali & Jimmy's bday with all of em in different parts of the world. Haha. I think some of em still owe me presents loh.... Right Joo? =/ And not 4getting the Superband craze we had over Soul (cos of Awi) after the gers come back. I felt as if my teenage years were back. Lol
Then I had my 1st engineering job... internship loh.... Wake up @ 5am every morning... Glad to have the experience seriously. And thanx to Weicong for the intro for the internship. Do I still owe u the treat? Hmmm.... During the same time of my internship would be World Cup! 2nd time in my life that I actually watched World Cup! 1st time would be in JC2 when they had World Cup in Korea & Japan. Heh.
And 2 weddings in May that I've attended, was also jie mei for twice... Kaixian & Chew Ying... And I was dunno told by some1, one can only be jie mei for 3 times leh! So who's gonna get my 3rd time? Haha
Then there was the design project that seemed to have drained out 3mths of my energy... Wah, damn tired ah....
Then was the renounce of their single status for 4 close friends of mine (eh... 5 friends of mine?) Haha. Feel so happy for em. =D And of cos I myself had made the decision of the year and I'm glad I made that decision. I shld've decided earlier loh, then it would really be a brand new 2007! I guess the answer is an important catalyst.

Today, 2nd Jan 07 Met my sis in Parkway's BK. Tried out Wireless@SG and it worked! Wahahaha. Anyway my sis wanted to pia finish her h/wk while I tried to do my FYP. I muz say I'm quite effective! I've already finished 1/4 of what I'm supposed to do in 1 mth! But then again, I WAS supposed to start aft exams, so I need to buck up. Somemore, I've a report to write... Zzzz... 2hours later my laptop batt went flat & we went to shop for my sis's clothes & shoes, and yes, that was part of our schedule for today. Haha. In the end my sis only bought 1 top while I bought 2 tops -_-
1st Jan 07 Went Vivo with my family. I must say it was half a happy & unhappy outing... My father as usual... is so impatient. (He always complains when we shop for clothes too long...) And when we were coming back home, me & my sis were walking too fast in front with my mother & maid following. My dad who was quite behind (cos he didn't trust me n my sis in bringing everyone to the right bus stop & he stopped to asked the security guard w/o telling us), juz went into the MRT gantry. We realised he was missing and I called him 5 times.... In the end we had to take train also... My feet was killing me loh. Actually serves me right since I was wearing my new heels. Haha. Anyway we ate @ the No Signboard Restaurant. Nice but expensive meal. =D
31st Dec 06 Stayed @ home the whole day. As usual, my non-NUS clique had Aimei, Lisheng & Zhao Yong @ home, so we did countdown on MSN together. Lol. And this year for my NUS clique, there were only Gord, Joo & me online. So sad. But we did countdown together too while me & Gord were commenting on how Jolin performed on the countdown performance. Haha.
Taiwan countdown programmes are so much nicer than Singapore's one lah! They had fireworks along the exterior of Taipei 101! So cool!
30th Dec 06 Went shopping with Aimei @ Orchard. We were supposed to meet @ 11am to eat early lunch then start shopping but both of us woke up late. Super CMI.
And the funniest thing was... I dreamt that Aimei called me @ 9+am and said sth like she don't wanna go shop already. Then I was so angry in my dreams I shouted sth like, "Argh, don't go then don't go lah! I go alone!" HAHA.
Anyway... @ the end of the day... I bought a pair of heels (that killed my foot when I wore it to Vivo with my family), a Guess wallet (that costs only $33) that matches my Guess handbag, Gord's chio bu's (Jane Zhang Liang Ying) CD, a cheap $5 small handbag. AM bought a $55 Piere Cardin wallet. I pyschoed her to buy cos the usual price was $96!!! That's like more than 40% discount! When she was considering if she shld buy the wallet, Bingjia called & AM asked him if she shld buy the wallet... BJ told her the same (more than 40% discount) reason & asked her to buy. Lol. AM commented that this is an example of the difference between an Arts student & 2 Engin students. HAHAHA.
I shan't go on on our shopping trip cos it'll sound bimbotic....... Anyway BJ called to ask if we wanna have dinner or supper together. Then we said ok & he went to plan it. Anyway aft that we walked to PS. And from PS we took a free bus to Chinatown where we went to buy CDs. And we took a bus back to Orchard to meet the guys (BJ, Jeremy & Zhao Yong) for dinner @ Food Republic. Lol.
Aft dinner, we juz walked ard until we reached Centrepoint & stopped for CoffeeBean, where the narcist BJ & Jeremy started to take photos of emselves -__-. And so weird... seems like only me & ZY likes the peppermint ice blended @ CoffeeBean... Nice wat! It only comes out once in a year leh!
26th to 29th Dec 06 I can't think of wat I did on these days seriously... Oops! I think I was like slacking @ home.... Lol.
25th Dec 06 Xmas! Collected the log cake from CoffeeBean in the afternn...
Nice log cake!! I'm so going to buy it the 3rd time next year. =D
But oooo! While I'm slacking during Xmas, Cupid's working real hard ;) And all the excitement juz adds on my joy for this Xmas. =D
24th Dec 06 Was my D-day... (actually my D-day was between 23rd Dec & 24th Dec. Haha). Actually I'm glad that I said it out. Was telling my gal frens... it's only 50% now.... shld've told him earlier... then my 2007 will really be a brand new one with 0%!!
Had a xmas party @ dua gu's place @ night. It's the 1st time I've went dua gu's place ever since after my Ah Ma passed away. Though the party was supposed to be a jolly occasion, I can still feel my urging sadness when I went into Ah Mah's room, which has now turned into Jonah & Kayla's nursing room. All the photos that she put in the room were still there. Glad the room didn't change much =)
And like I've said, I have to move on.... Heh. I like this ornament alot!
Star!! Anyway we had Bingo game that nv seem to end even with so many ppl playin. And also we had BBQ that made the whole place smoke (cos it was raining and we had BBQ indoors...)
These are the BBQers who worked so hard for the night! (I was slacking). And not forgetting the Xmas present exchange! My family got back 2 out of the 4 presents that we put into the pool... -_- Wat is the probability, can some1 tell me?! Lol. And I got a SK pendant from Cousin Stef & 1 set of Red Earth makeup (eh... concealer, blusher, 2 eyeshadow pots, 1 lip stick) from Cousin Lijun. Coincidently I'm using that blusher. Lol
23rd Dec 06 Me, Lisheng & Zhao Yong went Aimei's place @ nite for dinner @ prata shop & fondue. Yum yum!
But it was quite a failure...
cos we had to do the fondue by the gas stove in the end...
But now we know! U've to use cream to make fondue (instead of the HL milk that we bought, haha). And I think I'm the 1st person ever to eat fondue with a spoon and satay-sticks-made-into-chopsticks....
I was laughing until my face is so red -_-
And not forgetting.... the 1st person ever to laugh to hysterically on a threadmill and the 1st person ever to laugh hugging a column in her house!!!
22nd Dec 06 Went back to sch to borrow some lib books. Was using linc when this guy came to the terminal beside me. I could sense that this guy keep staring @ me and I was thinking "Wth is this guy lookin @?!" Then I slowly turned my eye to the corner & guess wat... He's Arpan... -_- He 4got to return 1 of his books and the fine was like $8! Haha. In the end I lent him my card to borrow his books.
Coincidently, Weicong was in school also. In the end we went to comp cluster to look for the bday boy (Kel Koh). And our bday boy was watching Youtube in school! Omg! Lol
Aft that went Marina to look for the Amy, Cailing, Jiali & Joo for dinner (ok, they were having dinner, I was having snacks, lol). We left the place @ quite late, aft shopping & ended up in Mcs eating ice-cream & McChicken... Haha
21st Dec 06 Went KTV with Christine, Ho Kiat, Jiayao, Steph, Qiulin & Weicong. Super funny. We were all supposed to reach @ 2pm, but only Steph & WC reached early. When I reached @ nearly 3, there were only the 2 of em! Haha.
Later on HK & QL reached (and they smuggled their KFC lunch in =/). Thanx to QL for the bracelet! Nice! =D
Then Christine came... And we started a chain of SHE songs. Lol
And the latest was Jiayao... reached @ ard 5pm -_- And he got his gifts from HK (a cup with a monkey on it) & QL (a bracelet with a butterfly) & was asked to pose with the presents.... Haha.
His face really matches the cup! =X
After that we went for dinner and walked along Orchard Road. Nice xmas trees!!!

The monsoon has came again. Which reminds me of Sri Lanka again. I guess it's a part of us that we won't be able to forget. =)
It has been like raining (non-stop?) for 2 days... Super cold now... I'm wearing socks & sweater loh... Weather forecasts predicts the temp to be between 23 to 28 degress Celsius tonight... and that the rain will continue till Friday... According to CNA:

Quite scary sia. And for the past 2 days I've been going to Orchard. I feel so spendthrift for these 2 days... I had Sakae buffet yesterday with Amy, Charles, Jiali & Joo... Then I watched Eragon with the gers & Merv... I find the show quite nice leh, but the rest find it boring. Lol. And cos all of us were like super duper full (till the point of puking) aft our Sakae buffet, we didn't buy any popcorn. And juz to save the $2+ on a cup of drink from the snack counter, I accidentally left my Nalgene bottle on the cup holder of my seat. Boohoo!
Today ate BK breakfast with Candy & Zhao Yong. Sinful but super nice. Aft tt we went to walk ard to shop for Bingjia's present. Halfway shopping Candy asked if Lisheng is coming & ZY commented that LS muz be still sleeping, so I called LS. Guess wat? ZY is correct lah! Mr Ong went back to sleep aft he ate his breakfast @ home... -_- By the time Candy left, LS haven't reach Bugis yet... Muz say... buying BJ's present is the hardest task we can have lah. Haha. But anyway I watched Deja Vu with the guys aft the shopping. Nice show! Juz that I don't really like their explanation about the technology that they are using... Went to the lost & found counter to ask bout my bottle but it's not there. How sad can it be?! *cry*
On Sun, I went to Steph's facial salon for a "Xmas party". I muz say the skin consultants are all v pessistant in promoting man, but REJECT is the word. Wahahaha. Find stupid excuses and give it to em. Heh. Later on me & Steph went shopping ard @ Bugis Junction. Bought the newest Kindaichi comic cos Kino was having a storewide 20% discount. Heh. Met Huiyu @ Bugis Junction. She still look the same leh, heh. Btw, she is the 1st pri sch fren that I've. I was telling Steph on the 1st day of sch, I was sitting in front of HY (yah yah, I was the shortest...) & as usual lotsa kids cry on their 1st day of sch. Haha. So I juz gave a tissue paper to HY loh. And somehow she rmb it until today.
Abit out of point, haha. Back to wat happened for the past wk... U can dun read on lah. But I juz trying to keep records for myself. Lol.
Of cos on Sunday night I stayed @ home to watch my Hua Yang on ppstream loh. The seeder of the channel changed & the url was changed. In the end the url that I bookmarked nv work... Luckily it was showed in the channel panel of the client. Made me miss 1st 20min of the show. Grrr....
On Sat, I went Marina Creative with Joo cos her new Zen MicroPhoto is spoilt. Haha. And I went to collect my free Qmax webcam. Giving the webcam to Cousin Weiying since I dun need. Later on Joo accompanied me to buy my Xmas gift exchange stuffs and we also went to the Mango sale AGAIN. Lol. She called her mum to ask if she shld buy the clothes, but of cos I dunno wat she was saying lah. I only heard "*&^%$#@!*&^%$#@! Eva" (PS: the *&^%$#@! isn't vulgarities but Korean.... I dunno how to type korean wat! Lol) And I roughly know she told her mum she's shopping with me. I hope her mum won't think that I'm teaching her to be spendthrift. HAHA. Aft I reach home, Joo told me she juz bought the long sleeves... which means aft I left Suntec, she went back to Mango again. Lol. Oh! And I bought 2 bimbo Lindsay shows' VCD. Lol
On Fri evening, I went to shop @ Tampines with Aimei. Bought a skirt @ $19 & a nice pair of shoes @ $17. As u all know I've v short but wide feet (same as my body, lol). Vertically, my feet could fit in the size 35. But horizontally, I needed a size 37. But shit! It was vertically quite lose if I buy size 37. So the salesgirl was v nice & added paddings on the shoes that I wanted @ no extra charge! Haha. Oh! And we heard a choir singing Xmas carols @ Century Square. But it was quite horrible... There was a tenor's & sop's voice sticking out... And the altos were too loud... covering the sops (cept for the voice that stuck out)... We quickly left the building aft we bought my shoes. HAHA.
On Thurs, I cannot rmb wat I did. But I most probably slacked @ home the whole day...
On last Tues, I went for an interview. The story goes that a ger called me up during the 2nd exam wk for interview for a financial consultant position & I rmbed the time as 11.30am. I was on the bus to the interview already and the ger called me @ 10.50am "Hi Eva, are u coming for the interview?" I find it weird so I asked "Isn't the interview @ 11.30?" And she said it's @ 11am... So I told her I'm on my way & apologised. When I reached the level, I saw a big logo of this famous insurance company @ the unit nearest to the lift. And then a guy asked me which unit I'm lookin for & I started to suspect that the whole level consits of units of the insurance company... And I'm correct lah. I had the urge to leave immediately, but felt paiseh cos I told the ger I'm coming. In the end I was told to take a personality test & later on sat thru a video & interview... Felt cheated...
Aft that in the evening, met up Amy, Charles, Jiali & Joo to buy stuffs for steamboat @ Amy's house.
Ok, my hair looks damn messy & I look damn auntie. Haha. We can't finish the food so we had to play zhong ji mi ma. Haha. Aft tt Charles took his last bus home while we girls started to slack ard. We were watching the Asian Games diveboard (is it diveboard or sth lydat?) event. We were commenting on how nice the ppl jump but we dunno how the rules of the even works. HAHA. Jiali commented that dunno y but China always get the highest marks. Aft tt we started to watch a cartoon on Amy's laptop, but the audio was so jerky -_-. So in the end we watched Ella Enchanted, which was quite a crappy show. Like no logic... Aft the show I went to sleep on the sofa but the girls started to watch this show that Amy say it's not scary... But aft I moved to sleep on the mattress on the floor & Amy was beside me, she jerked & scream when a scary part came out. And the screams of the girls continued while I sleep. Haha.
On Wed aft we woke up, we went to Vivocity~! Actually cos I need to meet Evia to pass her the Hua Yang book & the gers agreed to go Vivo with me cos there was Mango sale. Heh. The top floor of Vivo is really v nice! But my phone camera isn't that good ah... Haha
So can't take the scenery behind. Heh. Later on Amy left for her JB trip while I spent my 24th hour together with Jiali & Joo. Omg! We were like quite sick of each other aft tt. Lol. Joking lah!

Fri: Watched Open Season with Lisheng & Zhao Yong. Super suay lah. It was still ok when I got down the bus, but aft I walked to the traffic lights 10m away from the bus stop, it started to rain heavily. Then I did a 200m dash to The Cathay. We actually planned to watch Deja Vu but the guys were late so we watched Open Season instead. The show is quite funny.
Sat: Met the girls (in the pic) & Merv to sing KTV. Then walked ard in Orchard. Had super nice toast & dim sum for my dinner @ Food Republic @ Wisma. And we found out Amy has weak legs. Haha
Sun: My mum's fren's daughter came from M'sia to do her internship in Singapore, so I brought her to MDIS @ Queenstown cos her training will be held there. Aft tt in the evening, went Parkway... Watched my 4th episode of Hua Yang~! =D
Today: Went Sembawang Shipyard for interview. Like nv really ask much qns... But I'm so happy today because.... *drumroll*

My Hua Yang pictorial book!! Finally got it~! Comes with a 2007 calendar =D Bought it via a Taiwan online bookstore & they DHLed it here. The book itself costs only SGD$11 but including courier fees will be SGD$25 if u only buy 1. Managed to find a girl from some forum to buy another 2 books, so can share the cost & the cost became SGD$18.50. YAY~! Actually I called up Kino to ask bout the book & they told me they tentatively set the price @ SGD$21 & the stocks might come in as late as Wed & may or may not have the free calendar. So I decided to order the book from Taiwan directly.
Jiali commented that I'm like a sec sch kid now, so crazy over a show... Lol. Which I seriously think so too! I think I was too deprived of all these kinda shows when I was young... I think my only idol that time was Jeff Chang? (Ok, mayB also Faye Wong, but not that much) And Jeff I muz say, although I really luv his voice up till now, we cannot deny the fact that he's quite a boring guy. Haha. And wat dramas do we have? Only TCS shows... which I don't even watch already (ok lah, now called Mediacorp)

Yah, 1 of the reasons why I'm so slacked... my slackest exam ever.... 3 papers over 2 wks... but I'm super ineffective.
I think I'm not prepared for tmr's paper, read thru his notes, understand em, but I dunno how to apply. And it doesn't help when there's only 2 past year papers & 2 tutorials... Not to mention that the 2 past year papers has different kinda qns & I got the lowest in class for my mid-term... Luckily I've my proj to pull me up...
Argh... quick return me all my luck! I need it so I wun be da-baoing my 1st mod!
