Yesterday marks the 1st (lunar) year death anniversary of my maternal grandmother. Time really flies... it felt as if she just passed away a few days ago.
The feeling now as compared to 1 year ago is of cos much³ more different, though the sadness still lingers around me. But I think I'm getting better as time goes by, as compared to Cousin Kaixian... She still cried yesterday @ the temple... I think it's kinda like a pity for her cos her wedding was less than 3 mths away from the day my grandmother passed away.
On a happy note, congrats to XXX on getting into the finals of XXX! I was told to keep it low for the moment, so I shall just censor the 2 words for the moment. Haha.
Oh, and today marks the opening of my secret blog somewhere else. Lol.

Human logic versus computer logic
I think the booking of a tour has quite a cheem logic behind. It'll be hard to write a programme to choose between a few choices of tours.... And even if u chose the tour that u wanna go, u still havta choose between different airlines, and for the different airlines, there's different prices and different departure/arrival times...
Human logic is still better.
Finally booked our grad trip... a 8-day Taiwan trip @ $1209. We're taking SIA flights, not cos we're rich (if we're rich we would have went Japan), but there's only China Airlines & Eva Air with weird timings (like leaving Singapore @ 12 or 2pm, and leaving Taipei @ 6 or 8am) or the expensive SIA flight with nice timings.... so bo bian loh, since the price diff is only $100+

Actually I know that I don't know em that well... Heck, I can't even rmb some of their bdays! But of cos I treasure em v v much. I can't imagine my life w/o my family and frens. Not-so-nice comments on ppl that's more appropriate for urself...
Like u gave a bad/mean/not-so-nice comment on somebody w/o realising that u r not much better or that the comment will also be even more approriate for ur future actions?
Hmmm... I'm not recalling some bad/mean/not-so-nice comments that I've made on any1 hor... I'm recalling a not-so-nice comment that some1 made on me quite long ago, and somehow I feel that the comment suited some1 more than me, especially recently.
Ok, it sounds like I'm bearing a grudge, but no, I AM bearing a grudge. Haha.
And since it's my blog, I juz wanna bitch bout it here. =P And don't ask me bout it cos some1 may just be u. Lol.
Thanx to Cousin Weiying, she actually went to buy Play magazine (a Taiwan mag) for me! Haha. Ella & Wu Zun~~~ And she said it's (it == her purchase of the magainze, not the magazine itself) nothing much since from young I only have 1 ultimate idol, which is true. Haha.
I mean now even if hypothetically... Jeff Chang, S.H.E, and Fahrenheit has some events going on at the same time, I'll still go for Jeff Chang's one. I can almost imagine myself when I'm like 40 years old and he's 57 years (that is if he's still in the industry, hopefully), I'm still listening to his nice nice voice. Haha.

End of mad rush
Finally after 1 wk of tests & assignments, 1 wk of VI-ing, I'm free for the moment. But I was kinda scolded by my FYP sup today. Ok lah, he's a nice guy, he nv really scolded me, but more of a reminder...
"I think it's time you start to panick"
which I think is true.... the final draft of my report is due in 1 month's time!! My sup is so nice that I'm feeling guilty... He even advised me to see the research scholar at least once a wk.
My mentor is so nice also... This kinda virtual island: http://www.civil.nus.edu.sg/vits/student/u0303413/vi/index.htm, he actually said,"Good job ... interesting website." AAAHHHH!! I seriously dun deserve such nice mentor & sup! Too slack liao....
So from tmr onwards, I'm going to school every weekday (instead of my 3 school days)! I shall do my FYP in school, starting from tmr! Anyone wanna join me and Cai? =D
Last Sat, Cousin Ping finally got married! Heh heh. The wedding was held @ a restaurant @ Expo, quite ulu place but the food was not bad. And I took a pic with my sis and quite a few ppl said I look thinner! Bwahahaha...
Budden again, mayB cos the photo was cut abit on MSN (my face got cut), so I look thinner, lol. But anyway, it's a nice photo~

Dilemma
When I went for the interview nearly 2 mths ago, they told me they'll inform me in 2 wks. When I didn't receive any news from em for such a long time, I decided not to wait.
Now they emailed me (actually they emailed me on 28th Feb but I didn't check that email, lol), saying I'm accepted, but the pay they're giving me is way too low.... It's quite a big company but they're paying $100 lesser than market average! They're even paying 1st class ppl only $200 more than market average... -_- So giam...
Weihan told me I shld take up the job cos it's a well-known company in that field. "Imagine next time we all look for 2nd job, then I tell ppl I'm from Ah Tiong construction company & u say I'm from XXX, which one more impressive?" (PS: Ah Tiong construction cpy is a hypothetical cpy) He's correct lah, but even the probation is 6 mths (usually shld be ard 3 mths?) and the benefits they're giving looks normal to me (and they didn't even state if there's medical benefits or not)...
So now I'm in a dilemma... Oh well, I'll think bout it till next wk...
Somehow this dilemma is related to the movie I watched on Mon: The Pursuit of Happyness (no no, there's no spelling mistake, this IS the name of the movie).... Chris had to make a decision between being an intern for 6 mths w/o pay or look for a job. Btw, he chose to be an intern.
Maybe I shld approach my prof for help, see wat he says...
On a brighter note, it's Vanity Fair later on! Heh

Aloha! I'm back
I think I've not been really making updates on my blog, like ever since SHE's concert? So I shall make an entry!
Regarding my test... I'm so so so dead! Sure fail one! Luckily only 10%... And Kel Koh if u're reading this, rmb our bet! U sure owe me a fruit juice cos I'll sure get lower marks then u. Haha
As for today, me, Cai, Joo, Eric & Taixiang went to Angela's concert held by PRU~ It was the worst campus concert that I've ever went... Ok, I don't mean Angela's performance is not good, but the crowd control is near zero! Madness. Everyone were queueing up and it rained quite heavily... but they didn't even open the door to let us in... Then when the door opens, suddenly everyone from the end of the queue started rushing towards the door. Unfair! I was being pushed till I nearly fell down!
But ok, Angela's voice & the free mini Swensens ice-cream paid off 1/4 of the PRU's debt. But it was hard to get good pix cos all of us has shaky hands & we were standing behind. Haha. So here's the best pic!
And another complain. The PRU ppl were standing on chairs to watch the concert. Then when this guy at the extreme left side of the hall left his chair, I went to stand on it. Later on another guy came to tap me on the shoulders when I was taking pix. I ignored him for a moment cos HELLO! I'M TAKING A PICTURE! HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO TAKE THE PICTURE IF U'RE TAPPING ON MY SHOULDERS?! At least wait for me to finish taking the picture rite?! He asked me to come down from the chair.
I did as I was told, but quite bu shuang. When I saw that there were a few other ppl including PRU ppl standing on the chairs, and WAT THE HELL. THEY'RE FREAKING BLOCKING PPL LAH! The chair I was standing on was at the side of the hall, I'm not blocking anyone and u're askin me to get down from the chair?! So wat the hell is wrong with u? U dislike ppl wearing blue polo tee?! ARGHHHH.
The FURIOUS me (Cai was trying to cool me down. Haha) approached the same guy and questioned him about it and guess wat he said? "The chairs are for us to stand only." Ok, I take it that they need to overlook the concert or sth. But wat bout the REST? Like the ppl who are not wearing the PRU tees?!
So I approached him again and he asked me to wait. He went towards a 2nd PRU guy & another PRU girl standing on the chair and told em bout it. But they don't look like they're asking ppl to not stand on the chairs. Later on I walked towards the 2nd PRU guy and said "So now wat? I was standing on the chair AT THE SIDE, I wasn't blocking ANYONE and asked me to come down, and now these ppl are blocking ppl behind but u're not asking em to come down?!" Then finally they did something.
So conclusion of the day? Be persistent when u wanna complain. HAHAHA.
Anyway I bought the Angela's CD cos can get autograph, and they gave a free poster (no where else if giving this poster with purchase of CD). I think I might just sell the CD to earn $. Lol. And Angela is really v pretty in person!!
Ok I shall post some random events I've for the past month. Haha.

And here's the 4 CE girls there were in the hydraulics lab that day~
Aft the media left, we went to queue for the 10c sandwich @ Subway, with Xiaofen treating the 9 of us. HAHA. When we reached there, there was already a long queue. All the kiasu ppl. Haha
And on Chu Er, me, Cousin Bud & Cousin Weiying went Sentosa while the adults were in Chiang Mai. But my camera was with my parents in Chiang Mai... So no photos for the moment, until I get Cousin Bud to learn how to use WinZip and send me the zip files. Haha
Ok, think my update till here bah...

- My backview had a 2sec of fame on CNA. Mediacorp came to our Hydraulics lab and they interviewed my FYP prof regarding the alliance of NUS and Delft Hydraulics. We had to paint our semi-sub for a module proj that we've done last sem (U can view the hilarious video of our presentation here)

When Steph saw him, she went "Aiyoh, the 2 of u wear lovers tee ah?!" very, very loudly... -_- I felt quite paiseh for a second. Lol. I mean wat is the probability?! I decided to buy 4D aft tt since I think winning a 4D has a higher probability than that. But I didn't strike... And to think we wore the same tees yesterday again... Aye, u stop wearing that tee leh, cos I like my brown tee (I bought it @ Fox with Amy for only $8!)! Haha.
- And stupid YM, keep saying there'll be a guy giving Yancui flowers on Vday... YC said sth like if she don't get flowers from any guy she'll bash him up. Later on really nobody gave YC flowers & YM went to buy 1 stalk for her. Haha.
