Happy Earth Day!!

Yay! It's 22nd Apr & it's Earth Day!! It's the day u start caring for our Earth if u haven't done so.

So from today onwards, take a bus instead of driving, off the electrical appliances when u're not using em, use a tumbler for brushing teeth instead of letting the water flow, etc etc. =D

Look what the exams have done

I'm starting to do bo liao stuffs that I usually do not do. I suddenly remember my NUS gang gers askin me wat is the meaning of 暧昧 when Rainie's 1st album came out.

So I went Babel Fish and translate the word and the answer is teng teng teng teng~~~ "ambiguous". Hmmmm, not a bad translation.

Then, I used their translator to translate my blog from English to Chinese and it was damn funny, I was trying not to laugh out loud....

Examples of funny translation:

Example of kok lecturers & sore losers in NUS

Dear CE3132 course participants,

I want to rectify one issue regarding the quiz of yesterday, April 12.

As some of you may have noticed, problem 2 was also presented during tutorial class. However, since some of tutorial classes were scheduled for Wednesday afternoon and Thursday (i.e. after the quiz), it turns out that not everybody had a chance to attend tutorial class during which this problem was explained and addressed. This brings some of the students in unfair advantage.

Because of this, second question of the quiz yesterday will not be taken into consideration when marking the quiz.

WAT THE HELL LAH!! I could do qn 2 & I didn't even go to the tutorial @ all. Wat does this mean? The lecturer is kok, he shldn't have set EXACTLY the same qn for both the test & the tutorial (the qns for the tutorial was only given during the tutorial). N wat do I mean by exactly? Even the values are the same. N also, there r some sore losers students in this course. Never study lah! It's a simple qn loh! If u nv study, then dun complain.

Super pissed now, spoil my mood... was so happy that I can go watch Ice Age 2. I think I'll email the lecturer to complain: It's also unfair for students who studied for the, did not go for the tutorial, but still able to do the qn. I dun care if he's in a difficult position, it's his fault anyway to set the test qn exactly that of the tutorial.

Start of MY study week

I went to celebrate the start of my study week with Steph today. Ok lah, not really, it's more of celebrating us finishing our quiz & also our assignment.

We went Marche @ Suntec for dinner but 4got to take a photo of our dinner. The price of my fav crepe has increased to $9.90!! Boohoo... Anyway, dinner was nice.

Then she accompanied me to Eng Wah to buy tix for Ice Age 2, which I'll be watching it later @ 2.50pm. Then we walked to Shaw Tower. For wat leh?

Won a pair of tix last week to the gala premiere for Daisy via 93.3fm morn show. The DJs asked us to send an sms telling em the answer to the question they juz asked about the movie. And the dumb question was...

What is the occupation of Jeon Jihyun in the movie?
A. The Killer's Wife
B. The Killer's Mistress
C. An artist

Hallo... wife & mistress r not occupation loh, n the DJs said there were actually ppl who answered the 2 obvious wrong answers. O_O

The movie is bout the relationships between an artist, a killer & an interpol. The killer gave daisies to the ger everyday @ 4.15pm but nv show himself @ all. The artist got to know the interpol & tot that he's the person who always gives her the flowers. That's roughly where the impt part of the story started. Shall not put in the whole story in case there r ppl who wanna watch.

Anyway, yhe story has more of suspense than romance, which it is supposed to be. The plot is quite good, but the ending is bad... @ least to me...

The cinema is Prince 1 & it's v big, probably the size of the 1st floor of Victoria Concert Hall. And the screen is quite big...

But PLEASE, dun ever watch movie there. The smell there is comparable to the smell @ LT7A & the air con is also not working v well... I was wearing sleeveless & I dun even need to wear my sweater -__-...

Anyway Jeon Jihyun attended the gala premiere & here's some of the clearer photos I managed to snapped of her & her translator & DJ Peifen...

Paiseh to Xianzhi lah. I noe u like her, but I was sitting too far away. Haha. I'm not as daring as the fans u see in the 1st picture with their camera screen... they ran to the stage & take photos of her loh.... =/

And recently... the weather is sooo humid that there were lotsa flying bugs ard...

Super yucks loh... And we used the traditional method of getting rid of em... drowning em...

Haha. Ok, I'm cruel but it's really quite irritating to see so many insects flying ard u, esp when u're already feeling v sticky.

Oh well, mayB I shld go sleep liao, watching Ice Age 2 later in the aftnn!!

Long time no blog

Q: When was the last time I seriously blog bout my life?
A: 24Mar (Fri), which was nearly 2 wks ago

No prizes even if u can answer that =P. And wat is the reason? 'cos I'm busy with schoolwork, super busy. And even b4 that I blogged v v little, with v few photos. So now, I shall upload the photos that I've haha.

Spinelli's Cocoa Twist. I went to buy a small cup though I had a cup of the Latte Spin the previous day. Wanted to make myself happier n juz bought a small cup =)


I've been eating @ Subway for like twice within a week (for last wk). This photo was taken when I went Subway with Lisheng & Zhao Yong last Monday, when we were supposed to stay back in school to study, haha. But well, I pia finish my Foundation proj that day and was thinkin of givin myself a treat.

Oh, tokin bout the Foundation proj, the deadline was @ 5.30 on 27th Mar, Mon. I was piaing the proj from 12nn & continued aft lunch. @ ard 4+pm, Chew Ying called me...

"Aye! I tell u sth, u dun 'huh!' too loud hor"
"Wat?"
"U dun 'huh!' too loud ah!"
I was thinkin wat will be so surprising to me & joked, "Wat lah? U getting married meh?"
"Yah."
"HUH?!"

Obviously I didn't take her warning on not shouting too loud. Steph & Weicong instantly looked @ me, haha. I was so busy with my proj, I 4got the date & tot it was some Apr fools joke & asked CY wat was the date. Haha. And when she told me her wedding is in end May, I tot she meant next year, lol. Anyway, I'll be jie mei for 2 weddings in May lah, hehe.

Tokin bout weddings, went to buy my gown with Couz Kaixian last Saturday. Couz Lijun & her is sharing the cost of the gown & giving it to me as my super belated 21st bday present, haha. Of cos my gown is in blue =D. N looks nicest on me than any other gowns I've tried cos it covers my fat arms, heh.

Cast concrete day. This was super long ago, on Feb 16. Kinda fun lab. But doing the lab report wasn't....


My grp's dome, Made In Korea By 2 Singaporeans & 1 Malaysian. Haha. It's the strongest dome of the 3 grps, budden again, we only need to reach the minimum requirement with the lightest structure, so our grp got the lowest points. Heh.

Kelvin Koh. His sleeping photo was taken by Wee Koon using my hp when we were studying in the lib aft the testing of the concrete. I hope he dun read my blog & dun see this pic. Scared later he get angry over it. Lol.

Anyway, think I shall update till here. I'm not free actually, cos I still have my Einstein quiz tmr. But u noe, anything, ANYTHING is considered more "fun" than studyin for ur test. So... oh well =D. Aft tmr I'm only left with 3 modules to worry bout this sem!! =D
